Happy Weekend to my blogging friends. Hope you are all well and enjoying some crafty time.
I unfortunately attended a funeral yesterday of a family friend whom I have known all my life. We used to have many a happy holiday together with him, his wife and their daughters and although under sad circumstances it was so nice to see them and my cousins again all of whom we certainly don't see enough of. We reminisced of times gone by and through the sadness managed to have a lovely afternoon. Dad unfortunately could not attend as he is still very frail after his attack of Pancreatitus. He was not forgotten though as he was mentioned in the Eulogy. When I listened to the escapades of Hugh and Dad as young men and the days of National Service I do somehow feel that life for them was far better than it is now. They seemed so much more care free.
So, on to my card. I have another Sherry Baldy image to share with you today. At the moment she is nameless but is alive and well all the same and can be found here. She is so cute.

She has been coloured using Copics and has had a sprinkling of Diamond Sparkles to her wings.
The papers are Bonnets and Bowties from Nitwits.
The butterfly, bow and hearts are by Memory Box and are available from many on line stores.
Whilst I am writing this blog I have my headphones in listening to Micheal Ball and Il Divo singing Love Changes Everything - Phenomenal voices, so much so it brings a tear (or could that be that it is mixed with a couple of glasses of wine)!!! I will add that I am writing this post at 10pm and not up drinking wine in the morning!!!
