Shabby Chic at Marvelous Magnolia

Good morning Blogger Friends.
 
I would like to say hello to my new followers. It is lovely to see you here and thank you for your lovely comments.

Hope you have had a lovely weekend - don't they pass by too quickly. Having said that - the years pass by too quickly. It will soon be C*******S!!!

I am going to have more time to craft from now as I have reduced my hours from four days to three although they will be extremely long days as I have 40 hrs to fit into three days.  
 
This is the second week of our challenge over a Marvelous Magnolia. The theme for this challenge is Shabby Chic and we have the fabulous Live and Love Crafts as our sponsor. 
 

 
I have coloured Tilda with Big Tulips with Distress Markers.



From the Ribbon Girl I have used Pink and White Daisies, Tiny pale pink Roses, 10mm Fuchsia Roses, Pink Twinkle Ribbon, Jessica white Guipure Lace, Flat Back Pearl String, Flat back Pearls.
 
The Maja Design papers, white cluster flowers, the wooden heart (on the ribbon) are from Live and Love Crafts.
 


Thee gorgeous Butterfly dies are from Noor Design. The Happy Birthday stamp you can just see on the right is from Whimsy stamp. I find these really useful when you are making fully loaded cards as fit easily in nook s and crannies.

    Oh my! this is SO beautiful Sharon… such a lovely Tilda and your soft colouring is perfect! LOVE the scrummy embellishments… the flowers, butterflies and ribbon are all SO gorgeous!! an absolutely stunning card!
    I was saying about time flying by and I actually mentioned it will be C********s before we know it, just the other day!! Lol

    Sharon, our DD works 39 hrs in 3 days, and it's exhausting - so good luck! You'll get in the swing of it I'm sure, and what fun to have more rest & craft time. This card is just as lovely as always. I wonder how you mail these multi-layered cards..they are so gorgeous, with all the beautiful laces, flowers & pretty embellies that you add. This image is so sweet, and you did a wonderful work on the coloring too. The blonde in her hair is perfectly done! Good luck with the work-hour change, and TFS. Hope your wkend was a good one. Hugs
