Fairy - On Tiptoe

Good Afternoon blogger friends.

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend and are any of you crafting?

I have been enjoying playing this week as I received my order for Inktense Pencils this week.

As many of you may now know, the very talented Tracy has put together a Tutorial on colouring with Distress Markers and she has now added a tutorial using Iktense Pencils. Both are available as a package (including a light resource class at Kit and Klowder.

I have made a card yesterday using Lili of the Valleys Fairy - On Tiptoe for Russ's niece who was 13 this week.

A full product list with a link to the online stores will be at the bottom of this post.

I have coloured her with my Inktense and I am really pleased with the results though I still need to work on the skin tones.

Skin - Baked Earth, Carmine Pink, Sepia Pink
Hair, Saddle Brown, Oak, Sepia Ink
Clothes - Carmine Pink, Leaf
Outline - Iris Blue

I have added a blingy stone to the bow and Diamond Sparkles to the wings to made this card sparkly.
I computer generated the birthday message and cut it out using fishtail dies.

I love the pink and green colours together in fact I think this is possibly my favourite colour combination. You cant really see it on the photo but the butterflies have been layered three times for extra dimension.

I cannot make a card without using pearls so I added them round the edge of the card (I don't know why I told you that as you can see them!!!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.

The Ribbon Girl - Use Ribbon
Allsorts Challenge - Pretty in Pink
Crafty Little Fairies - Sparkle and Bling
Crafty Ribbons - Birthday with Ribbon
Fab 'n' Funky - Tic Tac Toe (Flowers, Ribbon, Pearls)
HobbyBook Designer Challenge - Girly
Sisters of Craft - Anything Goes
The Crafter's Café - A Childs birthday
Simply Create Too - Something new (papers)
Sister Act of Challenges - Anything goes
That's Crafty - Girl themed cards
Artbymiran - Anything goes

Seen as I booked today off work because we went out to a joint 13th 15th and 40th birthday party last night I am in the pub as I am writing this. One of two things will occur later - either I fall asleep because I have had a drink or I will be wide awake and visiting you lovely blogs. Either way, I will be visiting soon.

Hugs to you all and have a lovely week.
Sharon. xxx

What a beautifully special card for a new teenager. She will love it, and the pink & green colors. Love all the pretty things you've added to an already adorable image, and those molded butterflies are adding so much dimension to your cards. Love the lace, the silky bow, of course the flight of butterflies, and this young lady is going to be thrilled with your lovely card. TFS
