Shadow flower box.

Good morning.
I hope you are all well.

As some of you may know, Russ has a congenital heart defect and was taken to hospital last week with a suspected heart attack. He was in hospital for five days and with working and visiting I feel so tired. Thankfully, the specialists ruled that it wasn't a heart attack but the effects of his heart defect. We sought the advice of a heart specialist in London and he said that under stress or over exertion he runs the risk of his blood supply being temporarily cut off and the conclusion was that this is what happened. My lap top, which is usually joined to my hip, was hardly on for a week.

I am here today to show you my flower shadow box which I have decorated in a spring theme. These are such fun to make.

I added some of the colour lab starter set to gesso to make the pink for the frame (you only need the tiniest amount).

I added structure paste through the leaves and flower mask art around the edge of the flower frame.

The majority of the embellishments are from the Spring Garden Set. The flowers in the 3 little boxes above were made using the Roll up Roses die. The bottom one looks bigger as I added together the large and the small die.

I love these cute little plant pots and the branches. I have added the pearl pen in white to the centre of the flowers - I love the pens as the pearl drops stay perfectly formed.

I would like to enter the following challenges.

Thank you all for your lovely comments which are always appreciated.

Glad to know Russ is fine now. I hope there is something the doctors can do something to help this not happen again.
Your shadow box is fantastic - I live in a fantasy world a lot and your spring make is really a work of joy!

I am so sorry about the health issues. I had thought from your post earlier last year, that things were all improved with the issues ya'll had been facing. Certainly sending prayers that mending & recovery will be speedy and that the stress levels can be handled so that ya'll don't have to face this again. Best wishes to both of you. This is one beautiful project. Love the leaf embossing in the frame, and all the little sweet flowers and gardening tools tucked around. This is just the thing to cheer up a hospital room & brighten a corner in your home! Take care, and lots of hugs & prayer. TFS

Beautiful flower card! We are going to attend an anniversary party at local party venues in LA and will love like to make a similar flower card for the couple. Thanks a lot for inspiration and I hope they will like it.
