A New Challenge at Diva's

Hi blogger friends.
Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Diva's by Design and we have a colour challenge for you.  We would love to see your designs using Blue, Brown and Cream. The challenge has been sponsored by Live and Love Crafts. There is some lovely inspiration over at Diva's and it would be lovely to see you over there.

It has been a busy week travelling to Hull to see Dad. His operation went well but he is still very poorly. They have decided that he is going to have a feeding tube from tomorrow because he just can't eat and he really can't afford to lose any more weight. Here's hoping that the tube makes a difference.

Did you all enjoy the snow. I must say for the first time in years I loved it. We went to our daughters in Dewsbury. It was lovely getting together for one or two drinks (I never was good at maths)!!! We got home about 1am and went out onto the fields at the back of her house to take the dog for a walk. We all had such a laugh having a snowball fight. I was wet through when I got back to Kayleighs but it was so worth it - just what the doctor ordered.

For Diva's challenge I have used a Bugaboo digi - Gus's Birthday- Recount

I coloured Gus using Flexi Markers.
The papers are from Pink Petticoat. I printed a plain sheet of the blue paper and then printed it again with the brown flowers. I repeated the process with the stripes and checks.

The bow is by Memory Box and the Fishtail flags are by Die-namics. The butterfly and gems are from my own stash.

Sharon, I am happy to hear that your Dad's surgery went well. Now the feeding tube needs to help get his strength back so he can recover! Holding healing thoughts for that.
I have to tell you that I was quite shocked when I saw your card tonight. I just got done mapping out my DT requirements for the next two months, and I decided to use this very image & sentiment for one of them, (and my brother's birthday card, as he turns 60 in March.) Great minds think alike, huh? ;^)
You made a fantastic card with Gus! Love the design, your fab papers, coloring, & die cuts. Just a super card! :^)
Hugs, Penny
Glad you were able to have some fun in the snow!
