Missing for a while.

Good evening crafty friends.

I just wanted to pop by too say that I will be quiet for the next three weeks. Our daughter Jade is getting married and I am going to be busy busy busy. I have a lot to do in the house and garden in preparation for the big day and don't think I will have any spare time for crafting. Thank you to my design teams for your understanding. I would like to thank you for you visits to my blog and for your comments. I love reading them and appreciate each and every one. I will hopefully find time in my busy schedule to pop by your blogs for some commenting and to view your gorgeous creations - I need some time to chill!!!

A New Challenge at Diva's by Design

Good morning friends.

Diva's by Design have a new challenge starting today with an Anything Goes theme. A nice easy challenge and everybody's favourite so it would be lovely to see you there. The sponsors this fortnight are Dilly Beans - they have some fabulous stamps and the DT member have some wonderful cards for your inspiration. 

    I have used Skull bow girl but have changed it slightly. The digi has a skull in the 

middle of the bow but I have added a pearl. Can't get out of girly mode!!!   

I have coloured her with Copics and Flexi Markers.
The bow is from an online store which is now unfortunately closed and the buttons are from my own stash.

I haven't gone to mad on the Frantage this time - just used it on the flowers.

I have added ultra fine glitter on top of the Detail Sparkle (on the bow) as I wanted it to be mega sparkly. It definitely worked.

I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed making this card and will go down as one of my favourites.

A new challenge at Besties.

Good morning friends.

Hope you have had a lovely weekend. Somewhat cooler in my part of the country but I am not complaining as it means my craft room is cool enough to craft. Having said that I have not been able to do much crafting this weekend as we have had some friends visiting from Gran Canaria.  It has been lovely catching up with them and hopefully we will be able to visit them next year.

The challenge over at Besties this week is Floral Frenzy and I have used image 875.  A nice easy one girls as we all love the pretty touches to our cards.

The butterfly on the top corner is from a peel off and I have no idea where I purchased it - sorry.

The cream flower the metallic corner and the image surround  have been covered with Frantage. 

I have dabbed Detail Sparkle on the butterflies but I don't think I left it to dry long enough as it has gone a bit flat.

Rosie with Presents

Good evening friends.

Are you all managing to keep cool in these soaring temperatures. Nearly the weekend so lets hope the gorgeous weather continues. Actually I wouldn't mind it being slightly cooler as my craft room is so hot. 

My card today is using Rosie with presents for Lili of the Valley.

I bought some gorgeous linen card this week and I thought I would try using my distress markers. The results are not as good as watercolour card but with practice hopefully the results will improve.

The ribbon is from the Pretty Little Ribbon shop but it is now closed. Hopefully I can find it somewhere else.
