Emma Shoes

Good evening Blogger friends.

Hope you are all well and enjoying your weekend.

I had a lovely but very tiring day yesterday at the NEC. Can't wait to get crafting tomorrow. I will show some pictures on my next post.

I am showing a card I made for a colleagues daughter who loves shoes and bags. I have used Emma Shoes from LOTV.

A list of the products with a link to the online store will be at the bottom of this post.

I have coloured her with Inktense Pencils - Love pink and green together. The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.
The paper is from my stash.

The flowers are from WOC and LLC. I have added a butterfly die, pearls and gems for prettiness.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.

We Do Doobadoo - Enhancing your Dies
In the Pink - Luscious Lace
Crafty Little Fairies - Not a square
A Crafty Mess-  Anything Goes

Have a lovely week and I will catch up with you later after Downton.

A new challenge at Divas by Design

Good morning blogger friends.

I hope you are having a lovely crafty week. For those of you who live in the UK, three more sleeps and I will be going to the NEC - can't wait. Are any of you going this year?

Today sees the start of a new challenge over at

 Divas by Design.

The challenge this week is

Bonfire colours - so browns, oranges, yellows, greens  - essentially autumn colours.

We are being sponsored this week by

Crafty Devils

Hark at me being all colourful with my headings!!!

I would like to say a special prayer for Claire - a blogger friend who sadly lost her dear husband to Cancer this week. My thoughts are with her and her family at this very sad time.

I have coloured in the gorgeous image from Aurora Wings Ballet Flower Ballerina - fantasy art by Mitzi Sato - Wiuff
It took me an absolute age to colour this image in - I enjoyed every minute though I know it could be improved.

I have used Inktense Pencils. The flowers are from WOC and LLC.
The papers are from my stash.

The lace and pearl trim along the bottom is from LLC.

The banner is cut out from a Whimsy Stamps set.

A collage of all the elements which made up this card.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.

Shopping our Stash - Leaf me alone
Try it on Tuesday - Autumn colours

Midway reminder at Marvelous Magnolia.

Good morning crafty friends.

Hope you are all well and having a lovely week.
I am sharing with you today my midway inspiration card for Marvelous Magnolias.  The theme for this challenge is to add a hint of black.
I have been so looking forward to colouring up this adorable image- Here I am Tilda.
I chose this sentiment stamp from a challenge win and thought it was perfect for this image.
I have used Inktense Pencils to colour the image. I m still not entirely happy with the hair but this was the best of three. It actually looks a lot better in the flesh. I did not use water to blend the hair as on the first attempt it ended up a yucky mess - still need more practice with colouring hair.

The papers are from my stash. I bought a large pack of papers from K & Co years ago when I first started making cards so, rather than keep buying ink and papers I figured I should use some of them.
I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and embossed with white powder.

I added pearls, sparkly beads, lace (which you can't see very well) and flowers from WOC and LLC.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.

Use your stuff - Doily (doily die)
The Crafter's  Café - Things with Wings
Card Mania - Buttons

Thank you all for stopping by and for your lovely comments. I am sorry I haven't been around blogging as much as I would like but I need to catch up on my DT obligations and commissions before I go on holiday.

Enjoy the rest of your week.
