My first post for Swedish House Crafts.

Good morning.

I am here to share my first post for Swedish House Crafts.
I have been admiring the work of the DT ladies for a long time and was thrilled when Suha asked me to join her team. Such an honour to work alongside such talented ladies.

I will be predominantly show casing flowers made from Foamiran but I will also show the effects of using the same die on paper and as you will see below, vellum.

I coloured the foam flowers with Ink pads. The two large vellum flowers were scored on the back of the vellum to create the lines on the leaves before colouring.

My DT package included the adorable Elephant which is part a 5 piece set. I have to say they are all so darn cute.
My next project with show how have I used this image and the lush Denim Girl papers to make a card. Of course many of the above flowers will be used.

That's my first post done for Swedish House Crafts. I hope you like my flowers and come back to see the finished card.

See you soon

Dutch Doobadoo tag.

Good morning.

I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas with family and friends or if it was a quiet Christmas, I hope it was just as lovely. We had a lot of fun playing games and as is usual for Christmas day, far too much food. Boxing Day was very relaxing and spent watching films and eating left overs. Just what was needed before returning to work.

It has been a long time since my last post as life has been so busy. I finished my Wedding Invites the week before Christmas which meant I hadn't long to organise the food and games for Christmas Day.

I have made a bottle tag using to Dutch Doobadoo card art stencil to co-ordinate with the card on my previous post.

The pretty heart is a die from Die'sire by Crafters Companion. I love the fact that you can create a card using the die and also use it as an embellishment.

The flowers have been made using Lady E dies and Foamiran.

Thank you all for stopping by today. I would like to wish you a very Happy New Year and I hope that 2019 brings you much happiness.

See you soon.

Bottle Tag

Long time no see. I seem to be getting good at these long absences but hopefully should have more time very soon. Garden just about completed so just the front bedroom to paint and titivate.

I would like to share with you today a project which I made using the Dutch Doobadoo Bottle tag card art.

Apart from the tiny Rosebuds, all the flowers have been made using Foamiran. The dies are by Rosy Owl and Lady E.  All being well, I am going to spend a day this week making nothing by these pretty flowers.

The chipboard which takes centre stage is by Scrapiniec. The circle mats have been created using stitched circle dies and Marianne Creatables. You can find the links to the products used at the bottom of this post.

The ribbon and key are from my crafty stash.

Chipboard letter.

Good Morning.

It has been a while since I posted as we are in the middle of renovating our front and back gardens. We still have a long way to go but a lot of the hard work has been completed thanks to the digger we hired. It certainly made easy work of knocking our garage down.

I would like to share with you today my latest project using a Chipboard letter.
I tried to add elements which tie in with the card I made previously as it is for the same lady.

The letter has been decorated on both sides so please scroll down to see the other side.

The papers are from a paper pad by Lili of the Valley but they are no longer available. They can be bought however from Nitwit Collections as a digital download - just follow the link below. All the buttons are from my stash.

All the flowers have been made using Foamiran, Rosy Owl, Whimsy Stamp Dies and coloured with Pentel Oil Pastels.

Paper has been added to the bottom of the Scrapiniec film strip chipboard and I added the cute Bubble Bee.

Below is the other side to my letter.

The bunting has been made using Katie Sue Designs Silicon mould and air drying clay.
The gorgeous lace is Allyce.
Of course a card made by myself is not complete with a butterfly or two. These have been made using to layers from the stitched butterfly dies by LDRS.

More flowers above and below using the Foamiran and dies.

Thank you all for stopping by today.

Have a lovely week.

Bottle tag.

I would like to share with you today a bottle tag I made using All Dressed Ups digital image, Feeling Spoilt.

The stencil is from Dutch Doobadoo which I covered with Studio 75's Rose Avenue papers. I love the soft colours of these papers.

The gorgeous stamp is Feeling Spoilt from All Dressed Up. I paper pieced her dress with the Rose Avenue papers because I wanted a subtle colour scheme.

This was a commission for a lady who is 70 years young today. This milestone gave me the idea of setting the bottle of Champagne on the stand and using the Aged to Perfection stamp which was part of a stamp set in a magazine.

The large round detailed die is Anja's Butterfly by Marianne Design.

To add some prettiness I used Georgina lace, butterflies, gems and the vintage mirror,  the links to which can be found at the bottom of the post.

Apart from the tiny rosebuds and the beaded stamens, all the flowers have been made with Foamiran and coloured with Pentel Oil Pastels.

A few close up of the Foamiran flowers which were made using Rosy Owl and Whimsy Dies.

I would like to enter the following challenges.

The image is a digi download and you have a choice of a pre coloured image or a black and white image. I use the black and white and coloured it using my Prismacolor pencils.

Most of the flowers have been made using Foamiran and coloured with Pentel Oil Pastels. They have been die cut using Rosy Owl dies.
and the Whimsy Lily Flower set die

The two layers of butterflies are from the Little Darling Dotted Wings die set.

Midway reminder for the challenge at All About Magnolia

Hi Bloggers.
I am here today to share with you my card for the challenge at

the theme for this challenge is

All About the Season

For my card today I used Magnolia Stamp London Tilda.
I masked Tilda before adding the Water Rain Drop Stamp

The papers, Indian Summer, I purchased from the NEC this year and they are by Clarity Stamp. I have covered a lot of the detail on the papers but I can assure you, they are so pretty. I made the large flower on the left with Foamiran and the flower to the right using the papers from Clarity. Both were made with the Whimsy Lily/Poinsettia die
I will come back very soon and add the rest of the products used. My computer is constantly disconnecting from the internet and I am going to shut it down before I throw it through a window!!!

Midway Reminder for Marvelous Magnolia.

It seems such a long time since I last posted. Well actually it is as a month has gone by.
The only cards I have made have been for my DT commitments but I am raring to get back to card making on a more regular basis. I have had a lot going on in my life and I just needed some breathing space.

Anyway, I have returned for my midweek inspiration for

As always, our theme is

Anything goes.

The chosen winner for this challenge will have the opportunity in joining us in an up and coming challenge.

I have not made a card this time but a bottle tag. I really love making these and they make beautiful keepsakes.

The bottle tag shape art is by Dutch Doobadoo.
I have coloured with Distress Markers and Re-inkers, Magnolias Cause I love you from the Little Emoji Collection 2017

The pretty die underneath the image and around the bottle opening is Anja's Butterfly from Marianne Design. The large pink flower on the below has been made from Foamiran and coloured with chalks. The die I used to make the flower is the Lily/Poinsettia die from Whimsy Stamp.
The Just for you is by Scrapiniec. There are two pieces in this set.

Midway reminder for All About Magnolia

Good morning.

I am here with my reminder for the challenge at

All About Magnolia.

The theme for this challenge is

Fall/Halloween.

We are being sponsored by Magnolia Stamps of Sweden

and

I have gone for an Autumnal card as I am not a great lover of Halloween and tend not to buy Halloween appropriate goodies.

I have coloured  Sitting Cozy Tilda and Happy Swing with Distress Markers and Re-inkers.
I love this cute swing and keep looking through my stamps to find images that will sit on it nicely.

The papers are from a Christmas paper pad by Whimsy Stamp but the colours are beautifully autumnal.
The leaf and mushroom die is by Joy Crafts

Yet again, I have made a Foamiran Flower with the Lily/Poinsettia die from Whimsy Stamp. Can't get enough of this die.
The Autumn die is from a set of Seasons Dies.

Thank you all for stopping by today.

See you again soon.

LOTV Wedding Couple

Good morning.

It has been a while since I last posted but it is nice to be back with this wedding card.
Life has been so hectic recently. I don't feel like I have sat down and relaxed for a long time so I am treating myself to a PJ day today curled up on the sofa with our two fur babies.

I made this card for a work colleague who attended a wedding at the weekend so I can now show it.

I used the gorgeous Wedding Couple from LOTV

I created the shape of the card using the Shape Art Heart from Dutch Doobadoo.

The image has been coloured with Distress Markers. I masked the couple and stamped the Magnolia Love stamp behind them.

I made some Foamiran flowers using the Whimsy Stamp Lily die which was designed by Bev Rochester. I have to tell you, this die has to be one of the best things I have ever bought - I love it. There are two sized dies in the set. The middle of the flowers I coloured with chalk and added the dots with a copic marker.

To the bottom I added the Rose and Chiffon lace.

Underneath the smaller flower above I added some vintage seam binding and twine.
Just above the flower is the Wycinanka Heart with Doves.
Because this is a wedding card I added the gorgeous Lauren button for some bling.

I would like to enter the following challenges.

In the Pink - Anything goes
Stamping Sensations - Photo inspiration
The Ribbon Girls - Anything goes

Thank you for stopping by today.
Enjoy the rest of your week and I will see you soon.
