Wedding card.

Afternoon lovely friends.
Hope you have all had a lovely weekend and did not get too wet with all this rain we are having at the moment.

I was asked to make a navy and white Wedding card last week and due to a serious lack of time I decided to make one very similar to one I made a few weeks ago. I don't know about you, but I take so long coming up with new designs that school girl copying had too be done!!! Just happen too love this design also.

I love this image but I think I need a bit of a change. Will have to scour the internet.
I have used Distress Markers to colour.

The papers are from Pink Petticoat. I am sure they are called pretty little swirls but I cannot find the link.

The heart shape was cut out using a Stencil from Dutch Doobadoo - they are available from Noor Design UK as are the butterfly heart die, the layered butterflies and the doves.

The gorgeous lace is available from WOC - love this.

The ribbon and the pearl and diamante brooch are from the Ribbon Girl as are most of the flowers.
I made two tags using a Magnolia Doo Hickey die. I added the LOTV date stamp to one and a computer generated message with the couples names on the second.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

Aurora Wings - Anything with wings
Crafting from the Heart - Anything goes
The Paper Nest Dolls - Anything goes
Crafty Ribbons - Anything Goes

Than you so much for stopping by today and for your lovely comments which I love reading and really appreciate.

Enjoy the rest of your week.
Hugs Sharon. x

Application for the DT call at Noor Design.

Good morning.
I hope you are all well and having a lovely week.

When I saw that Tracy was having a DT call for Noor Design UK my heart nearly skipped a beat. I have been using Noor Design products for quite a while now and I love them. I have been able to move my card making skills forward by using products from Dutch Doobadoo such as their stencils and MDF word art. Now that Noor Design UK are bringing mixed media products into the shop - the skies the limit. I was a guest designer for Noor Design recently and  loved it. To be able to create for them and too inspire others to use their products would be amazing.

I am lucky enough to work just 3 days a week so that leaves me plenty of time for crafting, I would have even more time to craft if the house would clean itself but maybe that is one dream too far!!!

I have a Facebook page and belong to Pinterest.

My card uses the Heart shape art stencil from Noor Design. If you would like to see the project I used using MDF Word Art which I made for a colleague and which matches this card you can find it by clicking here.

I love using the stencils as a base and for the layers of my cards - I have cute our 3 layers for this card which gives me plenty of space for adding my dies and embellishments. The stencils are such an affordable way to make a shaped card without the expense of metal dies.

The image is from Tiddly Inks and has been coloured using Distress Markers.

I have made two gorgeous flower displays and you can find the links to the products at the bottom of the post.

The butterflies are from Noor Design. I  have used the border die of butterflies but cut two off the end so that they fit neatly above the flowers. There are two separate dies available to add the dimension.

The doves and the butterfly heart die are Noor Design. Love the two doves, they are a perfect addition to a wedding card.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

Cards und More - Bingo (Blue, Lace, Flowers)
Through the Craft room door - Anything goes

Tiddly Inks - Happily Ever After

Good afternoon blogger friends.

I hope you are all well and enjoying the weekend. I am having a very lazy afternoon. I am watching The Way We Were as I am writing this post - then I may watch another soppy film when this has finished.

As I mentioned in my last post I have had to make quite a few wedding cards. I am safe to post this now as the happy couple became man and wife 3 hours ago.

I have just treated myself to a new printer. My old laser printer would not take thick card and the ink cost me a small fortune. I bought an Epson 3050 Workforce and I love it. It means I can now download digi papers and the first thing I bought was Rose Cottage Charms by Michelle R Designs. Love these papers so much.

I will put a link to all of the products used at the end of this post.

I have coloured the image with Distress Markers. Frantage has been added to the die.

The flowers are from LLC and WOC.

The heart die is from Doo Hickey. The beaded embellishment is from a local craft shop.

I have decided I am going to watch The Blind Side whilst I catch up on your blogs. This is one of my favourite films. I love Sandra Bullock in this film and so does my daughter Sophie. She once said how fab it would be too have  mum like her character in this film. Thank you Sophie!!!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

Penny Black and More - Anything Goes
Sir Stampalot - Anything Goes
4 crafty Chicks - Anything Goes
As You Like It - Favourite papers - Love the colours and the fact that they are digi's so I can use them time and time again.

Just Us Girls - Ribbon
Craft For the Craic - Craft item never used before (Tiddly Ink stamp)
