Little Bee Cuties

Good Afternoon Blogger Buddies.

First of all I would like to thank my new followers - it is a real honour and I appreciate you all, old and new.

I have managed to get only one card done today and this has been achieved when my little baby sleeps. As soon as she is awake it all action stations. She has now realised she can get upstairs - perhaps this is her plan to get me fit!!! She has kennel cough at the moment and it sounds awful though the vet has assured me that they are quite able to deal with it and it should clear up on its own. They suggested I give her children's cough mixture or some honey added to warm water. I am trying the latter first. She is so precious. Never thought Russ and I would have a baby together!!!

I couldn't resist buying Little Bee Cuties and Issabelline papers from Pink Petticoat and here is the result.

I have used Marvellous squares by Spellbinders and Fishtail dies by Die-Namics.

The Butterfly and heart dies are by Memory Box. The gems and the ribbon are from my own stash.

I am entering this card into the following challenges.
The Pink Elephant - Anything goes
Avenue 613 - Anything goes
Card Mania - Butterflies or Fairies
Daisy Doodles - Anything goes
Stamps and fun - Heart
A Gem of a Challenge - ~Add a bow
Clearly istamp - Black/white& pop of colour
My Heart Pieces - Valentine. Must have a heart

My baby is asleep now so what to do. Card or blogging - either way I will be round today to do some commenting.
Enjoy the rest of your day

A new Challenge over at Songbird.

Good morning Friend.
Hope you have all enjoyed your weekend. As some of you have commented - my baby has definitely got in the way of my crafting. I am just pleased I was able to get my DT cards finished before we picked Abbie up.

Over at Songbird today, we have a new challenge which has been sponsored by Joanna Sheen. The theme for the challenge is Sixteen going on Seventeen so we would love to see all your age cards.
I have used an image from Tiddly Inks - Wryn.
I would like to give a special mention to Alyce from Kit and Clowder for her wonderful colouring tutorial. I used the same colours as Alyce used in her tutorial as I thought it would be the best way to practice. I am very pleased with the results though I have a long way to go to be nearly as good as Alyce.

Wryn has been coloured using Copic markers

The papers are Bonnets and Bowties from Nitwit Collections

The flowers and the fishtail dies are both by Die-namics available from many on-line stores.
The sentiment has been computer generated.

 Daisy Doodles - Anything goes
Whoopsi Daisy - Make it girly
My Craft Spot - Add flowers
QKR Stampede - Anything goes
Stampavie and More - Lots of layers
Milk coffee Challenge - Cute
Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything goes

Thank you so much for stopping by and for your lovely comments.

Take care.

A New Challenge at Diva's

Hi blogger friends.
Today sees the start of a new challenge over at Diva's by Design and we have a colour challenge for you.  We would love to see your designs using Blue, Brown and Cream. The challenge has been sponsored by Live and Love Crafts. There is some lovely inspiration over at Diva's and it would be lovely to see you over there.

It has been a busy week travelling to Hull to see Dad. His operation went well but he is still very poorly. They have decided that he is going to have a feeding tube from tomorrow because he just can't eat and he really can't afford to lose any more weight. Here's hoping that the tube makes a difference.

Did you all enjoy the snow. I must say for the first time in years I loved it. We went to our daughters in Dewsbury. It was lovely getting together for one or two drinks (I never was good at maths)!!! We got home about 1am and went out onto the fields at the back of her house to take the dog for a walk. We all had such a laugh having a snowball fight. I was wet through when I got back to Kayleighs but it was so worth it - just what the doctor ordered.

For Diva's challenge I have used a Bugaboo digi - Gus's Birthday- Recount

I coloured Gus using Flexi Markers.
The papers are from Pink Petticoat. I printed a plain sheet of the blue paper and then printed it again with the brown flowers. I repeated the process with the stripes and checks.

The bow is by Memory Box and the Fishtail flags are by Die-namics. The butterfly and gems are from my own stash.
