Lil Ballerina

Good morning friends.
Hope you are all well and enjoying your day. I like Saturdays to go really slow as I have to work all day on a Sunday. So far today is flying by. I will be visiting dad this afternoon who is hopefully, fingers crossed, beginning to improve. I am trying to persuade Russ to come to the cinema with me to see Les Mis for the third time before it finishes. So far, he is not being persuaded. Boo Hoo. He always says why spoil a good story with singing. Guess when is comes to singing - we are not on the same wave length.

I am sharing with you a card I made earlier in the week using Mo's Digital Pencil image called Lil Ballerina. I have had this digi a while and have been looking forward to using her. I am really pleased with the result - she is so sweet.   Sorry but I have shared quite a few pictures this time.

I have used Copic Markers to colour the  dress and Flexi Markers to colour the hair. The gorgeous papers are from Raspberry Road and are called Fight Like a Girl.  These papers are beautiful and perfect for this image with the music notes and Puccini papers.

The flowers are from WOC

My favourite dies at the moment are these hearts from Memory Box called Precious Hearts

The border butterfly is an On The Edge die called Butterflight by Tim Holtz. The ribbon is from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop

Bad Hair Day

Good Afternoon friends.
Hope you are all well and not snowed in. Actually that's not a bad idea. Think of all the crafting we could do. I have already broken my new years resolution which is to use all my crafty products and not buy anything new. I have had to order some ink for my printer and I couldn't resist 2 digi stamps last night from Mo Manning. My stash of flowers is also dwindling very fast so may have to have a sneeky peek at WOC. Gosh don't we have such an expensive hobby!!!

My card today is the first of my buys from Mo Manning and is called Bad Hair Day. Such a cutie.

The card blank is from Craftwork Cards and the papers are from Nitwit collections.  I have used one iof my favourite items at the moment, which is Kraft Card. I am finding that it goes with most colours and love the effect of it.

The paper doily is from my stash as are the gems.

The ribbon is from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop and the flowers are from WOC.

I am going to spend the evening blog hopping so I will be dropping by to say hello later on.
As Miranda's mum says "Such Fun".

I am entering this card into the following challenges

Bubbles Girl

Happy Weekend friends.

I hope that you are all well and enjoying the weekend. My weekend consists of Saturday as I work all day Sunday's and today is going far too fast. Gosh I really wish it was possible to stop time occasionally and I would still be on my long weekend away!!!

I am so chuffed that I am only one follower off 60.  I love blogland and I am grateful and honoured to each and every one of you who have visited, left comments and followed me.
I do try to comment on you blogs as often as possible but my shifts have changed at work and I don't seem to have as much time at home though hopefully they will revert back to my usual shifts soon.
I am trying to make the best of today as I am back to work tomorrow. We had such a lovely week off and although I enjoy my job I love being at home in my craft room.

Today's card is an adorable image "Bubbles Girl" by Mo Manning and is available at Mo's Digital Pencil.

I have coloured her with Pro Markers,  Flexi Markers and a Polychromo pencil for the shading around the image. The papers are from Nitwit Collections.

The butterfly die is by Memory Box and the leafy die is by Cheery Lynn and are available from many on line stores. The ticket sentiment is by Whimsy Stamps - I love these.

The flowers and the metal corner embellishment are by WOC. The rhinestones and the ribbon are from my own stash. The bubbles have been covered with diamond sparkles.

I am entering this card into the following challenges.
The pretty little ribbon challenge - Add some bling or Sparkle

Love Ya

Good morning to all my friends in blogger land.

We are having such a lovely time away for our anniversary relaxing, eating, drinking and working. What I hear you say "working" how can that be lovely. Well it depends on what sort of work you are doing I suppose and I am in blogging world so yes its lovely. Sooo good to be able to have the time to answer comments and visit you lovely people without any time constraints.

My card today is a Mo Manning digi from Mo's digital pencil. She is called Love Ya and I think she is absolutely adorable. She looks so happy to be cuddling her teddy.

The card blank is by Craftwork Cards and the papers are from a CD by Papermania which was free with a magazine.

The image has been coloured with Copic Markers and Prismacolour pencils.
The flowers and the metal corner embellishment, hat pin and ribbon are from WOC. The pearls are from my own stash and the sentiment was computer generated. I think it sums up so well how the little lady loves her teddy. her cardigan has been sprinkled with glamour dust.

Big Shoes

Morning all you lovely craft buddies.

A big thank you for all the lovely comments I received for my first card as a GDT member for Papertake Weekly Challenge.  I am thoroughly enjoying the experience and viewing some wonderful creations.
The Challenge this week is sponsored  by The Stamp Fairy with a fab prize of a £10.00 gift certificate. The theme is Strawberries and Cream – a card in Red/White or Cream or something that reminds you of summer.

I found this image Big Shoes whilst visiting Mo’s Digital Pencil and just had to have it - isn't she gorgeous.  I can remember dressing up in my mum’s high heels when I was a child and the summers being so hot that the heals would to sink into the tarmac. Don't think that's likely to happen this year do you!!!

Big Shoes

I started with a card blank from Craftwork Cards
The papers are a mixture of Raspberry Road (Wild Strawberries) and NitWit Collections (with this ring). I coloured the hearts with the red Pro Marker to match the image as they were originally to pink.

The circular die and the butterfly are from Memory Box. I purchased these from Oyster Stamps but they are available from many online stores.
I have coloured the image with Pro Markers. The reds are Red and Burgundy. I have used a Prismacolor Premier pencil in non photo blue for the shadow around the image.

The stamp Big Shoes is a digi image available at Mos digital pencil so the sentiment has been computer generated. If you buy the rubber stamp the sentiment comes with it.

I have entered this card into the following challenges.

DYSU Challenge blog - Colour theme Red.
Everybody Art Challenge - Summer
Mos digital challenge - Anything goes
Whimsy stamp challenge - Anything goes
Crafty Bloggers Network.-  Anything goes.
Pan Pastel UK Challenge blog - Ice cream colours
The Ribbon Girl Blog - Create a girly card
Thank you for taking the time to visit me today.
See you again soon. x
