Canary Love

Hi friends
Gosh Tuesdays soon come round. I am quite sad that this is the last post as part of the GDT for Papertake Weekly. I would like to give a big thank you to Dawny and the team members for giving me this opportunity. I have thoroughly enjoyed it and will hopefully get this opportunity again. The challenge this week is from a sketch by Dawny P and is sponsored by Simon Says.

For this challenge I have used a Saturated Canary image called Canary Love. She is adorable. Honestly I do have other stamps and digi's apart from SC but they are just so adorable. I would have said that this card is out of my comfort zone being very bright but I am very pleased with the results.

The card blank is from Craftwork Cards and the papers are form Nitwit collections. I have coloured Saturated Canarys, "Canary Love" with Pro Markers. The sentiments are by LOTV.

The poppy die is by Memory Box and the flower is a spellbinders die.

I am entering this card into the following challenges
Totally Papercrafts - Yellow and Orange
Crafts and Me Challenge - Anything goes
Simon says Challenge - Anything goes
Dutch Dare Card Challenge - Colour challenge
Color Throwdown - Colour challenge
Paper Pretties - 2 design papers

Thank you once again for taking the time to view, comment and follow my blog. It is very much appreciated.

Patchwork Butterfly

Good afternoon friends.
Hope you have had a good weekend and you are all well. I had a lovely day on Saturday - Russ and I spent the day together as we don't seem to have had much time for him and me just lately. We needed to go into town so of course that meant having a look round Wallis and lucky for me Russ bought me a blouse. I have been spoilt this month as I was also bought 28 Flexi Markers, which I absolutely love. Never thought the day would come when I could get just as excited about pens as clothes!!!

Today I should be making a card for my step-daughters 21st birthday but I'm afraid I have lost my mojo so I am blogging instead. Hopefully I will get my inspiration back tomorrow. So...here is a card I made last week. the image is from LOTV called Patchwork Butterfly.

Patchwork Butterfly

The card blank is from Craftwork Cards and the paers are from Nitwit collections. The image and the sentiments are from LOTV

The lovable bunny has been coloured with Copic Markers.
The die is called Cherish border and is available from many online shops.
The flowers and the metal embellishment are from WOC

The Pink Elephant - sketch
the Paper Shelter - Metal Embellishment

I tried setting this post for a schedule post but it didn't work. I put in the correct  time and date to be posted and also my blog address in the permalink. Any suggestions as to why it didn't work would be appreciated.
Have a lovely evening and will see you again tomorrow with the final card as a  GD for Papertake Weekly.

Thank you

Good morning to you.

Hope you are all well and enjoying this well needed sun. Sure does make you feel better.
I am so chuffed because this week I was picked for the top three at the Stamptacular Challenge Blog and won some crafty goodies from Copic Marker Europe. I guess I can no longer say that I never win anything!!!

For my fourth challenge over at Papertake Weekly I have made a card using another Saturated Canary image by Krista Smith called "Thank you". That lady is so so talented. This weeks challenge has been sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps and the challenge is to make something for your card.

Thank You

For this card I made the flower from my spellbinders, computer generated the sentiment and coloured the ribbon with my Pro Markers.

The card blank is from Craftwork Cards and the papers are a download from Sassy Designs. I love blue and brown together and wait for it - there is a massive 94% of papers at the moment which means that most of the paper packs are only 25p!!! Did I fill my boots with these.

Gosh she is so Sweet.

She has been coloured with Pro Markers. The die at the top of the card is called Cherish Border from Memory Box and is available at many online stores.  The flower die and leaf are by Spellbinders.

The ribbon is from my own stash and has been coloured with a Pro Marker to match the coloured image.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit me here in blogland. Your comments are always appreciated and a big thank you to my followers.

I am entering this card into the following challenges

Totally Papetcrafts - Colour theme (Blue and Brown)

Sweet Eline's Frog on Flower

Good evening friends.
Hope you are all well and enjoying a bit of sun. Because I new I was going to the Summer Craft Fair at Doncaster yesterday, I booked today off work so that I could have a play with all the crafty bits I bought. I was a bit naughty and spent quite a bit of money. I treated myself to some new Fleximarkers which I am loving. Think they are going to overtake my Copics for a while. Another purchase was this lovely little stamp,  Nellie Snellen Sweet Eline's - Frog on Flower.

I have started with a card blank from Craftwork Cards. The papers are from a cd by Polka Doodles called Picknix. Love these papers.

I have coloured the image with Pro markers and Fleximarkers. Love the Fleximarkers so much that I think I will be requesting them for Christmas and Birthdays!!!
The poppy die is Memory Box which is available from many online stores. The hat pin, flowers and metal corner embellishment are from WOC
Love love love these little sentiments from Whimsy Stamps called Ticket Notes.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

CLP Challenge blog -
Stamptacular Sunday Challenge - Wings and Bling
Totally PaperCrafts - Lots of layers
Crafty Creations Challenge - Free for all
Cupcake Craftroom - Layers

Thats all for now. See you on Tuesday for my third entry as GDT member for Papertake Weekly.

Morning to you all.

As some of you may have noticed, I have been playing about with my blog recently. I can now report that I am finally happy with my background. One of the problems I had was that in some of the layouts the text had a white background to it - very frustrating. I am sure there would be a way to rectify this but could not find one.
On to more exciting things - for me anyway - I am going to have a play with all my lovely crafty stash which I purchased yesterday from Summer Crafting in Doncaster. Was very naughty and spent far too much money - never mind I soon got over that one!!!
Will be back later to post a card.
Hugs
Sharon. x

Big Shoes

Morning all you lovely craft buddies.

A big thank you for all the lovely comments I received for my first card as a GDT member for Papertake Weekly Challenge.  I am thoroughly enjoying the experience and viewing some wonderful creations.
The Challenge this week is sponsored  by The Stamp Fairy with a fab prize of a £10.00 gift certificate. The theme is Strawberries and Cream – a card in Red/White or Cream or something that reminds you of summer.

I found this image Big Shoes whilst visiting Mo’s Digital Pencil and just had to have it - isn't she gorgeous.  I can remember dressing up in my mum’s high heels when I was a child and the summers being so hot that the heals would to sink into the tarmac. Don't think that's likely to happen this year do you!!!

Big Shoes

I started with a card blank from Craftwork Cards
The papers are a mixture of Raspberry Road (Wild Strawberries) and NitWit Collections (with this ring). I coloured the hearts with the red Pro Marker to match the image as they were originally to pink.

The circular die and the butterfly are from Memory Box. I purchased these from Oyster Stamps but they are available from many online stores.
I have coloured the image with Pro Markers. The reds are Red and Burgundy. I have used a Prismacolor Premier pencil in non photo blue for the shadow around the image.

The stamp Big Shoes is a digi image available at Mos digital pencil so the sentiment has been computer generated. If you buy the rubber stamp the sentiment comes with it.

I have entered this card into the following challenges.

DYSU Challenge blog - Colour theme Red.
Everybody Art Challenge - Summer
Mos digital challenge - Anything goes
Whimsy stamp challenge - Anything goes
Crafty Bloggers Network.-  Anything goes.
Pan Pastel UK Challenge blog - Ice cream colours
The Ribbon Girl Blog - Create a girly card
Thank you for taking the time to visit me today.
See you again soon. x

Friends Forever

Hello Blogger Friends.

I am so excited!!!

It seems a while since I have posted a card but I have some wonderful news which I am so chuffed about.  I have been picked to be a GDT member for papertake Weekly Challenge for July. A big thank you to Dawny P and the design team members - I feel so honoured and luckily for me I get to post 5 cards. Week 1 has been sponsored by Lili of the Valley so it seemed appropriate that my card should be a  LOTV card since I love them so much.

The stamp is Friends Forever.
I love this image and it has been a joy to colour. I have used Copic markers for the pinks and browns, Pro markers for the greens and a touch of Polychromo pencils for definition.

The Card blank is from Craftwork Cards
An optional part of the challenge this week was to highlight part of the card. Of course loving all things girly I added Diamond Sparkles to the fairy wings.

The papers are a combination of Nitwit Collections and Raspberry Road Designs .
The sentiment is computer generated.

The border punch is from Fiskars.
The flowers are from WOC

If you have liked my cards then please follow me - that way I could  return the compliment and visit your lovely blogs which  I love to do

See you next week (if not before) x
