Roses in Bloom/Ephemera

Good morning.

I am sharing with you today a card I made using Pion Designs Where the Roses Grow papers. - Roses in Bloom.

I chose this gorgeous  lady from a selection of Ephemera images by Maja Designs, Sofiera. If you click on the link below you can view the rest of the images. These images are really suited to the Scrapiniec Chipboard which are the decorative borders from the Royal collection.

The flowers include Blossoms, Roses in various colours and sizes, Rose Buds, Berries, Poppy, Chrysanthemum. Again, they are all linked at the bottom of the post. Added to the flowers are some leaves cut from the Studio Light beautiful flowers leaf edge die. This is still my all time favourite leaf die.

I added pearl string to the top and bottom of the image and let me tell you, it is driving me nuts looking at it as it is not straight along the top. I am going to try an unstick and re-stick it. Do you think I have a touch of OCD?

I tucked into the flowers above a bronze filigree butterfly and below is a bronze Antique leaf.

Thank you all for stopping by.

See you soon,

Hugs Sharon. x

I added a fence and for a little bit of cuteness, I added the bee.
The chipboard heart is from Scrapiniec

Denim and Friends

Good Morning.

Last weekend Russ and I spent four days in London and we had such a fabulous time. We always stay in the same B & B but had a lovely surprise when we checked in as they upgraded us to an apartment. The weather was glorious and walked for miles taking in the sites. We always go with a wish list as to where we want to visit as there is so much to see. The most memorable times this visit was the Pink Floyd experience at the V & A Museum and drinking cocktails whilst watching people playing the tables at the Hippodrome Casino.

I have made a male card for you today. Definitely not something you see from me very often though I do enjoy making them once I start.

The fabulous papers are by Maja Design and the collection is called Denim and Friends. There are so many gorgeous papers in this collection. I have used only two though you could say four as they are double sided.

The chipboard frame is from Wycinanka. I think the chipboard lends itself perfectly to male cards.

I cut the stars from the bottom of the papers and added Tim Holtz Film Strip Ribbon on top.
The tile I will have to ask Tracy about as I cannot find it on the site. I soon Tracy gets back to me I will add it to the links at the bottom of the post.

Thank you for stopping by today.
Enjoy the rest of your week.
Hug Sharon. x
