Happy Easter to you all. Hope you are having a relaxing time. I Love Easter because it means I get 4 day off work!!! 

Today I have my DT card to share with you for  addicted to stamps. This is the home of many fabulous images including this gorgeous Bestie Pheebee Flutterbee. 

I have coloured her with Copic markers. The papers are Petal Fresh form Nitwit collections. 

The butterfly dies and the heart die are by Memory Box and are available from many on line stores and the flowers are from WOC.
The image has been stamped onto Die'sire Decorative Die called Magic Mirror and is available from Crafter's Companion.

A new challenge at Dream Valley

Good morning blogger friends.

Today sees a new challenge over at Dream Valley.  We are being sponsored by the fabulous Saturated Canary and the theme is lace and pearls. The DT members have some wonderful  cards to inspire you so please head on over there and enter this fabulous challenge.  

Before I show you today's card I thought I would share with you the crafty stash I purchased at the NEC.

I thought I would make my journey worthwhile seen as at one point didn't think we would make it. Russ decided that he would top the car up with oil before we left. A mile or so down the motorway smoke was billowing out of the exhaust. We carried on a few miles and it subsided. Our car then started juddering and losing speed whilst in 5th gear. We turned into the  hard shoulder and cruised along until we reached a service station so that I could ring the garage for advice. They told us that the problem would be too much oil and it would eventually burn the surplass oil and be fine. All I kept thinking was please let us get to the NEC. Sure enough when we set  off the car was fine but we were then faced with delays due to an accident. 

We eventually made it and as I said earlier - I made the trip worthwhile. I actually didn't buy anything on my shopping list which was ribbon and embellishments. Never mind. 

So, on to my challenge card. I have used the gorgeous Saturated Canary's Parade. 

I have coloured the image with a combination of Copic and Pro Markers. The papers are from Nitwit Collections.

The butterfly, clouds and flower die are both Memory Box available from many on-line stores. 

I have recently bought the Scor Bug Embosser which I love. No more worries about straight lines using as sewing machine.

The lace and pearls are from my own stash.

A New Challenge at Songbird

Good morning blogger friends.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend - roll on next weekend. NEC here I come!!!

Today see the start of a new challenge at Songbird.  We are being sponsored by Mayzy Art and the theme is Oh What a Circus. There are 5 digi's for 1 lucky random winner.  I have use the image 'Clown' and I really enjoyed colouring her. I was really dreading colouring her hair but I am very pleased with the results. 

I have coloured her with a combination of Copics and Flexi markers. 

The papers are Sherbert Lime by Crafty Card Making. The circles die is by Memory Box and is available from many on line stores. 

The Ribbon is from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop. This is the last of my crinkle ribbon and am going to have to order some more as I love it. 

The fish tail die is by Die Namics and the butterfly is a punch around the page punch by Martha Stewart.

Mothers Day at Dream Valley

Hope my blogging buddies are having a lovely weekend and to the mums and Grandmothers out their - Happy Mother's Day.

 The challenge over at Dream Valley as you may have guessed by the title is Mother's Day. Do not worry if  the Mother's Day theme does not apply - as long as it is for a Female, then you are fine. I had my Mothers Day yesterday as I am at work all day today. We went out for a meal and I had a lovely time. I received some beautiful flowers and cards and would like to say a special thank you.

I mentioned in my last blog how tired I was with constantly running up stairs because our gorgeous little puppy got through every barricade I put up in an effort to eat the cats food which we keep in Russ's study. I gave in on Tuesday and bought a stair gate - money well spent I have to say. Abbie has had all her injections now so from Tuesday we can take her Walkies.  Don't know how we will fair though  because at the moment when you put a lead on her she sits down and refuses to budge!!!

Good Morning Blog Buddies.

Today see's the start of a new challenge over at Songbird. We are being sponsored by Country View Crafts and the theme for this challenge is Mama I Love You so as the title suggests we would love to see your mothers day cards. How many of you are singing this song now!!!

Well it has been a tiring week in our house. How much mess can a puppy make. If I turn my back for five minutes there is torn paper everywhere. I gave up using puppy pads as it was costing a fortune so it is now good old newspapers.  She has also decided that she prefers cat food instead of her own so I have had to block the stairs so she can't get up - but my - does she keep trying. I think the next step will be a stair gate!!!
She is so worth the work though cos she is sooo adorable. The wagging tail and the kisses in a morning are the perfect start to the day.

So on to my card. I have had this stamp a while not used it but it is perfect for the theme this challenge.
