A new challenge over at Besties.

Good morning friends.

Today see's the start of a new challenge over at Besties. The theme this week is to add a something metal. There are so many adorable Besties it is just so difficult to decide which Bestie to use. Such a hard job I have!!!

For this weeks challenge I have coloured the adorable Derby Hat Darlins Trio. You can buy this here at Sherries Etsy store and also here at the Scrapbook Stamp Society. This was a joy to colour - may have to colour this one again as I had so many colour combo's I would have loved to use.

I have coloured the image with my Copic and Flexi Markers. The papers are from Nitwit Collectons.

The flowers, ribbon and metal heart are all from the The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop which is unfortunately closing down. If you hurry,you may be able to grab a bargain.

I have added some Frantage to the image - love this stuff. The butterfly must be a favourite of mine as I think I must use it on every card I make. Perhaps I should take inspiration from Jules blog Always with a heart and change mine to always with a butterfly!!" The butterfly is by Memory Box and is available from many on line stores.

A New Challenge at Songbird

Hello again.

This is my first post for today to tell you about the new challenge that is starting over at Songbird Challenge. We have been sponsored by Pink Gem and the theme is All Creature Great and Small. They have some extremely cute little creatures and it would be lovely to see some Pink Gem Designs, but it is not necessary.

I have used the adorable Baby Boy Sleeping which you can find here. One of the great joys of card making for me is colouring all the adorable images but, for today's card, because of a shortage of time I have used the pre coloured image. This done come alongside the black and white image for you to colour.

The papers are from Pink Petticoat. The Ribbon is from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop. which as I mentioned earlier (or maybe I didn't depending on which of today cards I post first)!!! are closing down.

The blue flower is from my stash and the sprays of white flowers - my favourite of all time at the moment are from Live and Love Crafts.
The dangling hearts are called Precious hearts and are available from many on line stores.  The arch sentiment is from Scrap-a-licious-times. She has mad available for us crafters some free download sentiments. A very kind lady - thank you. I made this round sentiment larger and cut in across the middle so that it fitted nicely in the corner.

Gorjuss Girl

Hello friends.

I hope you are all enjoying your week. I am off work this week as I have a trapped nerve in my arm and cannot do any lifting. Thank goodness I can still use my fingers to type. It is our daughters birthday today and  when she was in my craft room last week she commented on how much she loved the Gorjuss girl stamps. I wonder if she was hinting. Well if she was it did the trick cos here is her birthday card.

It is the first time I have made a Gorjuss girl card and I loved making it. 

The papers are from the Gorjuss girl collection which I purchased along with the stamps at The Range.

The butterflies are Tim Holtz over the edge die called Butterflight. The Precious Hearts dies are by Memory box and the flower on the right is also a Die-namics die from the Range.

Nearly forgot to mention - she has been coloured using Pro Markers. Haven't quite mastered the shading of black hair yet!!!

A New Challenge at Dream Valley

A new Challenge at Diva's by Design

For this weeks challenge I have used LOTV's Watering the Flowers.

The image has been coloured using a combination of Copic and Flexi markers.

The papers are Nitwit Collections Perfect Pear. I love pink and green colour combo.

I don't know why a thick black line has suddenly appeared on the bottom of some of my photo's. I have used Photoscape all the time I have been blogging and have never had this problem before.

A new Challenge over at Songbird and Besties.

This is going to be a long post today so a would grab a brew as I have two cards to show you. The first card is for the Challenge over at Songbirds and the second for the Besties Challenge.

The Challenge at Songbird is sponsored by SK Digis and the theme is Bloom and Grow so we just need to see flowers on your project.

I have used Dandelion Hearts.

The image has been coloured with Copics and the papers are Romance and Roses from Nitwit Collections.

The ribbon is from my own stash and has been coloured using the Copic pen I coloured the image with.

The butterflies are  Memory Box dies Darla and Vivienne. The sentiment came with the digi download.


And now for my Second Card which is a Bestie and they have a new challenge starting today. So Bestie lovers pop on over as the winners will receive Bestie images of their choice. Colour Me Creative GDT

I am so chuffed and honoured to be GDT for the Colour Me Creative Classroom.

The challenge this month is Anything Goes (we all love an Anything Goes Challenge).  The challenge is being sponsored by Chelsea Le Designs and I was given the adorable image Cammy Girl to colour. The hat did not turn out as well as I would have liked (not enough shading).

I thoroughly enjoyed colouring this little beauty with a combination of Copics and Flexi Markers.
