I would first like to thank all my new followers. I have quite a few new faces on Bloglovin as well as Reader and will look forward to visiting you  all to say hello this weekend.

Today see as new challenge at Dream Valley and the theme is to make your own flowers embellishments. We are being sponsored by Mulberry Crafts UK and the lucky winner of the challenge will receive a goody bag. Please have a look at the DT's work and add your creation to Mr Linky.

I have used my new Magnolia stamp Honey Tilda which I have wanted for ages - so so cute.

She has been coloured using Distress Markers and has had Diamond Sparkles added to her wings.  The papers are from Pion.

The butterfly border is Butterflight from Tim Holtz and overlayed with a Punch All Over the Page punch from Martha Stewart. The sunflower is from WOC and the rolled flowers (which seem to be hiding on this photo) are made using a die from Marianne Creatables English Rose. I have also added buttons amongst the flowers and on the lace bow which I have covered with Shabby White Frantage.

The bow I made from some lace in my stash. The Sentiment is from LOTV.  The pearl beading is from The Hobby House.

Good morning friends.

Today I am back to tell you of the new challenge at Diva's by Design. We are being sponsored by Craftie Charlie and the theme for this challenge is Pretty Pearls. They have lots of gorgeous crafty goodies so well worth entering this fabulous challenge. The DT have some gorgeous cards and it would be  lovely if you could take a look.

I have used a Gorjuss Girl stamp called - I Love You Little Rabbit.

Isn't she just the cutest. She has been coloured with distress markers. The papers are Pion Design.

The ribbon is from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop which is unfortunately closing and they no longer have it in stock. The large sun flower is from WOC. The rolled flowers are from a Marianne Creatables English Rose Die

The doily die is a Tim Holtz On The Edge die. The butterfly I have layered twice using a Martha Stewart Punch all over the Page Punch. The sentiment is computer generated.  The pearl string is from The Hobby House. This was from a collection of cream and white  pearl strings and they are gorgeous.

The corner die is by Nellie Snellon. The love wording is from a Magnolia Tilda stamp which I stamped onto a punch heart. As you can see I have been Frantaging most of the card again. I so love this effect.

A New Challenge at Besties.

Good Morning friends.

Hope you have all had an enjoyable weekend.

Could anyone help me in my search for some Stemelglede stamps. I am after the 'Just a Note' set and cannot find any UK stockists. I would try and get some shipped - all searches say that Quixoticpaperie sell them but when I go on their site they no longer do them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had a very enjoyable day on Saturday. I went to the Demonstration Day at The Hobby House. I met some lovely people and bought some gorgeous crafty goodies. The shop itself is fabulous but also lovely is the coffee shop (really scrummy food), the gardens and aviaries. I can recommend you visit if you have the chance.  Russ was a star waiting patiently in the coffee shop whilst I indulged in all things crafty. Wanting to make a day of our outing Russ asked if there was anywhere else I would like to go. Well I really really needed some more Magnolia Stamps and Pion Papers, so we headed of to Doncaster to the Which Craft store. Yet more gorgeous goodies. We ended our afternoon with a Steak at a local pub. A fabulous day I must say. So, onto business.

Today sees the start of a new challenge at the Besties Challenge Blog. The theme for this challenge is shaped cards so please hop over and have a look at the fabulous DT's work. I always love colouring these adorable images and it would be lovely to see your fabulous work over there.
You can find these images here at Sherry Baldy's Etsy store and here at The Scrapbook Stamp Society.

I have used Bella Blossom. It was the Pion papers which influenced the colour scheme for this card.

I have coloured Bella with Copics.
Dress - C-0, C-2, C-3 and a touch of B60
Hair - W-1, W-3, W-5
Skin E-11 and Dusky pink Pro Marker

Frantage - Shabby White and Aged Silver has been added around the image.

The flowers are from WOC and the ribbon and heart are from my stash.
The Cameo and the pearl trimming are from The Hobby House.

The Sentiment is from the Vintage Birthday collection from Whimsy Stamp.

Tilda with Wrapped heart

Good Afternnon.

Hope you are all well and hopefully getting in some crafty time.
I had a reminder yesterday about Google Reader finishing and would love it if those who haven't joined me already would do so. I would hate to lose contact with any of my crafty friends.

About 6 months ago I bought the full set of Tim Holtz markers and have not had any success with them. I didn't know whether it was the paper I was using, the brushes or just me. Well I have been determined to get to grips with them and have been watching video tutorials and bloggers tips and I new I just had to  practice, practice, practice. Well I took the bull by the horns yesterday and the results of my colouring are below.
I know my colouring can still be improved upon but I feel so chuffed that I have had some success with them

I have used Tilda with Wrapped Heart. The die she has been stamped onto is the Spellbinders Opulent Opels. The papers are Pion Fairytale of Spring.

The butterfly on the bottom right is a punch all over the page punch and the heart dies are by Memory Box
The border die is Tim Holtz Butterflight.  The tag underneath the hearts are from the LOTV

The large flower which has been Frantaged (actually I think just about everything has been Frantaged)!!! is the result of some followers candy. The ribbon and heart pin are from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop (which is unfortunately closing). The white cluster flowers are from Live and Love Crafts and the pink and cream flower and tulip bud are from WOC. The sentiment is from LOTV.

A new challenge over at Besties

Morning friends.

Hope you have all had an enjoyable weekend. I went along to the Stamp Magic show in Doncaster yesterday so I am looking forward to a play today.

Today sees the start of a new challenge over at the Besties Challenge Blog. The Challenge this week is to use at least 2 dies on your project. I love being part of this fabulous DT but what a dilemma deciding on which adorable Bestie to colour.

For this challenge I have used image 826 which can be found here at Sherry's Etsy shop or here at the Scrapbook Stamp Society.

I have coloured  the image in with Polychromo Pencils apart from the hair which I have coloured using Spectrum Noir.  I am quite liking these Spectrum Noirs. I won a £15 voucher from Natalie and Amy and decided that because some of the colours in my copics are running out I would try them as they are quite a lot cheaper. I am quite impressed so far.

The papers are Perfect Pear from Nitwit Collections.  Surrounding the image is Frantage in Shabby Pink and Shabby White.
The flowers are from WOC. The twirly glittery embellishment I made myself using wire and glitter.
The butterfly border is from Tim Holtz which has had Frantage added and are overlayed with a butterfly punch from my stash.
The ribbon die is by Memory Box and the Fishtails are a Die-Namics die.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.

Totally Papercrafts - 3 or more punches and dies.
The Hobby House - Anything Goes
Digi Haven - Anything Goes

A bit of Ouch, Sadness, frustration and a card, so not all bad!!!

Good Evening friends.

I would first like to apologise for being a bad blogger this week. As this title suggests it has been a week of  emotional  ups and downs and though I have been looking at your wonderful blogs I have not been commenting. My arm is no better - still got that trapped nerve which is making my fingers numb and making it difficult to make cards so I am relying on cards I have under my belt but not posted yet.

Secondly, my very dear friend Denise,  lost her husband of only 17 months to cancer. They had been together for many years but got married just 17 months ago. The cancer was only diagnosed 12 weeks ago but he sadly lost his brave fight last Monday. Steph was a wonderful man and would put a smile on anyone's face. They were so happy and Denise just doesn't know how she will ever be happy again. Denise lost her mum last year and then her faithful Labrador only weeks later. How much sadness does someone have to bear. I can feel myself welling up just writing this - a lot of waterproof mascara going to be needed on Wednesday.

Thirdly and I could use some very choice words here, my computer was hacked. Luckily I was prompted  by Bev Rochester who was in my contact list and I got on the phone to Microsoft.  They very quickly sorted the problem and deleted any malicious programmes or whatever they put on. My computer is now hopefully secure enough for them to not cause problems. If anyone in my contact list had problems due to this I am truly sorry. Like I said I could use some choice words.

Any way, on a very much lighter note - a card. I have use the adorable Roses are Red, Violets are Blue from Saturated Canary.

The image has been coloured using Copic Markers ( I have been very Brave here and attempted black hair - could be better but it could also be worse)!!! The papers are from Nitwit Collections.

The sentiment is a free download from Scrap-a-liscious. She has some fabulous sentiments and well worth a visit.

The flowers are from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop and WOC as are the hat pins. The ribbon is also from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop which unfortunately closing.
The image has Aged Silver and Shabby White Frantage surrounding her.
The butterfly is from Memory Box  and is called Darla and Vivienne.

I would love to enter this card into the following challenges
