A comissioned card for Mother's Day

Hello friends.

I hope you are all well and had a lovely sunny weekend. Did you mums get spoiled and pampered? I went out for couple of drinks with Russ, my daughter and son in law before we came home for a Chinese take away.  It was a lovely evening.

I am showing you a card today which was a commission for a work colleague. The photograph is of her fiancé and his two brothers for his mum. I wanted it to have a vintage feel - I think I have succeeded.

The flowers are from WOC and Live and Love Crafts. The white butterfly is made from Martha Stewart air drying clay and the frame to the right of the flowers is made using a Mod Podge mould. I have added the Doo Hickey heart die to the corner of the card which pulls out.

The doily die is from Tattered Lace (I will add it too the product list at the bottom of the post when I remember the name of it).

I have added Frantage to the butterfly die. The pink rolled flower is from Kort & Godt.

The lace and pearls are from my crafty stash.

I am entering this card into the following challenges.

Card Mania - Lace and Pearls
The Cheerful Stamp Pad - Add Flowers
Dream Valley - Mothering Sunday
Eclectic Ellapu - Wings
Eclectic Ellapu - Flowers and Butterflies

A new challenge at Diva's by Design

Good morning friends.
Hope you are having a lovely week.

Today see's the start of a new challenge over at Diva's by Design. We are being sponsored by Iva Nova Chest and the theme is buttons and bows. The Design Team have some gorgeous cards to show you and it would be lovely to see you enter the challenge.

The card I have made today has lots of my NEC crafty stash to embellish it.  I love using new goodies for the first time.
I will be adding a direct link to the products used at the end of this post.

I have coloured the image with Distress Markers (I will add the colours later).
I have been longing to make a card which isn't square and here is the result.
The papers are from LOTV - it was so hard to actually break into this pad!!!
I have used the gorgeous LOTV image So Many Presents. Isn't she just adorable. The butterfly die is from Joanna Sheen which is now my favourite butterfly die.

The mum banner is a from Katie Sue Designs. Couldn't resist buying this on Saturday - moulds are my favourite embellishment at the moment. I have used Wink of Luna pens to highlight the letters. The flowers are from WOC and Live and Love Crafts.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

My NEC crafty stash.

Good Evening friends.
Hope you are all well.
I thought I would share with you my crafty stash from my visit to the NEC on Saturday.
I had a lovely day and enjoyed meeting up with Debs, Claire, Laurie, Pami and her mum for lunch. It is lovely to see blogging friends in the flesh rather than over Cyer space.

I have already used some of my stash which you will see when I blog my card on Wednesday for the new Diva's challenge.

A close up of the stash.

Gorgeous papers.

There were so many Tattered Lace dies I would have loved but I was very good and stuck to one. The Joanne Sheen die is my now favourite butterfly die.

Some more moulds for my air drying clay - can't get enough of these and they make such gorgeous embellishments.

Lili of the Valley Wedding Invite Stamps as a friend has asked me to make her Step-daughters wedding invites. Exciting but scary as I have never made invites before.
Wink of Luna pens in Silver and Gold. LOTV stamp.
Circular dies.

Reels of Lace.

I am still in the process of moving my craft room but will post pictures as soon as it is finished..
Have a lovely week and I will see you on Wednesday for my DT card but sooner for a catch up.

Write a Message Tilda

Good morning.

I hope you are having a lovely week and managing to fit in some crafty time.
I have been moving my craft room into the back living room. We decorated it a couple of years ago and loved it. However, since then, Russ has moved his office into the room and we now have a dog crate in there. Hence it was starting to look a bit messy. Because it is a large room, I have moved all my crafty stash in there also. We are going to decorate the front room - I am actually going to have a "best" room which is going to be pet free and tidy at all times!!! I will post some pictures of my new craft space when I have finished moving everything. It will be lovely being together in the same room whilst we are working.

I have a card to show you today using Write a Message Tilda, which I could not resist buying.
Love how you can add any message to the board.

The papers are Riddersholm design - Chantilly Dawn, Chloe. Love the purple and pink colours combo. I am going to have to search for another shop to buy these as Live and Love Crafts don't do them any more.
I have coloured her in Distress Markers.

The Pearl string, pom pom border, cream flower on left and white cluster flowers are all from Live and Love Crafts.

The white leaf and small butterfly are made from Martha Stewart's air dried clay.
I have added Frantage to the butterfly and papers.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.

Papertake Weekly - For Mum
Card Mania - Something New (Stamp)
Fashionista Challenge - Pretty in pink
