Dutch Doobadoo tag.

Good morning.

I hope you have all had a lovely Christmas with family and friends or if it was a quiet Christmas, I hope it was just as lovely. We had a lot of fun playing games and as is usual for Christmas day, far too much food. Boxing Day was very relaxing and spent watching films and eating left overs. Just what was needed before returning to work.

It has been a long time since my last post as life has been so busy. I finished my Wedding Invites the week before Christmas which meant I hadn't long to organise the food and games for Christmas Day.

I have made a bottle tag using to Dutch Doobadoo card art stencil to co-ordinate with the card on my previous post.

The pretty heart is a die from Die'sire by Crafters Companion. I love the fact that you can create a card using the die and also use it as an embellishment.

The flowers have been made using Lady E dies and Foamiran.

Thank you all for stopping by today. I would like to wish you a very Happy New Year and I hope that 2019 brings you much happiness.

See you soon.

Midway challenge for All About Magnolia.

Good morning.

It has been a while since my last post because I have been busy making Wedding invitations.
They are for my daughter's friend who, for unforeseen circumstances, was let down by the lady who was originally making them. Hopefully, I will have them all finished by the end of the month so that I can concentrate on posting more regularly.

I am here to share with you my inspiration card for the challenge over at

All About Magnolia.

Our theme for this challenge is

Wings

We are being sponsored by

Two people will have the chance to win a secret prize.

I have used the gorgeous Magnolia DooHickey Butterfly Die.

This is the first time I have used the heart easel die and I am really pleased with the results. Such a cute card.

All the flowers have been made from Foamiran using Rosy Owl and Whimsy dies.

I am going to spend a day this week making some more flowers and may also have a go at making my own Stamens. If you have ever watched a video on how to make these it looks so easy but seen as you use pva glue I can imagine I may get messy.

The papers were from Lilli of the Valley but unfortunately, they are not longer available.

The sentiment is by Scrapiniec.

Thank you all for stopping by today and for your comments.

I will see you all soon.

Hugs Sharon. xx

Bottle Tag

Long time no see. I seem to be getting good at these long absences but hopefully should have more time very soon. Garden just about completed so just the front bedroom to paint and titivate.

I would like to share with you today a project which I made using the Dutch Doobadoo Bottle tag card art.

Apart from the tiny Rosebuds, all the flowers have been made using Foamiran. The dies are by Rosy Owl and Lady E.  All being well, I am going to spend a day this week making nothing by these pretty flowers.

The chipboard which takes centre stage is by Scrapiniec. The circle mats have been created using stitched circle dies and Marianne Creatables. You can find the links to the products used at the bottom of this post.

Looking Gorgeous.

I feel like I am a stranger to Blogger at the moment.

Russ and I with the help of our daughter and her partner Kenny and our neighbour have been busy redesigning our front and back garden. After hiring a digger to take up all the turf and surplus soil we moved 3 ton of hard-core, 2 ton of soft sand, 89 paving slabs and 5 ton of gravel. We still have more work to do but thankfully, the hard work has been done. It is so nice to have some summer left so that I can enjoy our labours.

Anyway, on to my card.

I have used the gorgeous image from All Dressed Up, Looking Gorgeous. There is a link to all the products used at the bottom of this post.

I have coloured her with my Prismacolor Pencils.

The shape of my card has been made using the Dutch Doobadoo heart card art which is one of my favourite shapes.

The majority of the flowers have been made using dies and Foamiran.

I have prettied the card with Ribbon, lace and of course, some bling.

I am getting rather excited as my daughter and Kenny are about to set a date for their wedding. I have booked tomorrow off work as we are going to a Wedding Fayre. I am wanting some ideas for Wedding Invites and Flowers as I am going to make them for Sophie. Wedding invites is something I would love to get into so lets see how I do with Sophie and Kenny's.

Chipboard letter.

Good Morning.

It has been a while since I posted as we are in the middle of renovating our front and back gardens. We still have a long way to go but a lot of the hard work has been completed thanks to the digger we hired. It certainly made easy work of knocking our garage down.

I would like to share with you today my latest project using a Chipboard letter.
I tried to add elements which tie in with the card I made previously as it is for the same lady.

The letter has been decorated on both sides so please scroll down to see the other side.

The papers are from a paper pad by Lili of the Valley but they are no longer available. They can be bought however from Nitwit Collections as a digital download - just follow the link below. All the buttons are from my stash.

All the flowers have been made using Foamiran, Rosy Owl, Whimsy Stamp Dies and coloured with Pentel Oil Pastels.

Paper has been added to the bottom of the Scrapiniec film strip chipboard and I added the cute Bubble Bee.

Below is the other side to my letter.

The bunting has been made using Katie Sue Designs Silicon mould and air drying clay.
The gorgeous lace is Allyce.
Of course a card made by myself is not complete with a butterfly or two. These have been made using to layers from the stitched butterfly dies by LDRS.

More flowers above and below using the Foamiran and dies.

Thank you all for stopping by today.

Have a lovely week.

Whimsy Stamp - Baby Ellie

Good morning.
I would like to share with you another card using the adorable digital image Baby Ellie from Whimsy Stamp, isn't she the cutest?

I have coloured the image with Prismacolor Pencils.

The papers are Country Meadow, a digital download by NitWit Collections.

To add a touch of softness I added Cheesecloth and some gorgeous lace to which I added pearl string.
I cannot remember where I bought the It's a Girl chipboard but I will add it soon as I can source it.

The two layers of Stitched Butterflies and the Stitched Flags are by LDRS.

Bottle tag.

I would like to share with you today a bottle tag I made using All Dressed Ups digital image, Feeling Spoilt.

The stencil is from Dutch Doobadoo which I covered with Studio 75's Rose Avenue papers. I love the soft colours of these papers.

The gorgeous stamp is Feeling Spoilt from All Dressed Up. I paper pieced her dress with the Rose Avenue papers because I wanted a subtle colour scheme.

This was a commission for a lady who is 70 years young today. This milestone gave me the idea of setting the bottle of Champagne on the stand and using the Aged to Perfection stamp which was part of a stamp set in a magazine.

The large round detailed die is Anja's Butterfly by Marianne Design.

To add some prettiness I used Georgina lace, butterflies, gems and the vintage mirror,  the links to which can be found at the bottom of the post.

Apart from the tiny rosebuds and the beaded stamens, all the flowers have been made with Foamiran and coloured with Pentel Oil Pastels.

A few close up of the Foamiran flowers which were made using Rosy Owl and Whimsy Dies.

Anything but a Card for All About Magnolia.

I would like to share with you today the project I made for the challenge over at

The theme for this challenge is

Anything but a card.

Actually, I have two projects to share today.

In the first frame I have used the Magnolia image Cause I Love You and coloured her with Prismacolor Pencils.

The flowers and products used in my two projects can be found below with a link to the shops.

For my second frame I used Tilda with Rose Cake and again coloured her with Prismacolor Pencils.

Tilda has been matted onto the Marianne Designs die Anja's Butterfly.

All the flowers have been made with Foamiran and a selection of dies. I coloured them with Pentel Oil Pastels.

Baby Ellie.

I would like to share with you today a card I made using the Baby Ellie from Whimsy Stamp. My goodness, he is so darn cute.

I created the shape using the Dutch Doobadoo Shape Art A5 Label 2 though the shape is not so obvious once I have all my embellishments in place. Sorry but a girl has to bling.

I have coloured the image with Prismacolor Pencils. If anyone is wondering whether to buy any of these pencils you will definitely not regret it. They are fabulous. The lace across the bottom is Gwendoline. The ribbon is from my own stash.

The chipboard Most Precious and the film strip are from Scrapiniec.
Popping out the top of the card is the Joy Heart filled butterflies die but I cannot find a link to it. As soon as I do, I will add it.

All of the flowers were made from Foamiran and various dies. They were coloured with Pentel Oil Pastels and I added various stamens.

Some close up images of the Foamiran flowers. Making these is so addictive and so much fun.
