A new Challenge at Diva's by Design.

Good Morning friends.

How is your week? Hopefully life is running smoothly and you are able to fit in some crafty times.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Diva's by Design.  We are being sponsored by Crafty Ribbons so all we ask is that you incorporate ribbon on your card. A nice easy one for you this week so it would be lovely to see you there. The DT members have some gorgeous cards for you to see.
I have used a LOTV image - so adorable.
The products used are all shown as thumbnails at the bottom of this post.

I have used some gorgeous papers from and the image has been coloured with Distress Markers.
The sparkly gem in the middle of the flower on the right and the pearl string are both available from The Hobby House.
The butterfly border die is by Tim Holtz

The white butterfly is made from a mould and air drying clay.

The flowers are from LOTV and Live and Love Crafts.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges.

Inky Chicks - Anything goes
In the Pink - Anything goes
Natalie and Amy's challenge - One for the Girlies
Loves Rubber Stamps - Use Metal
Papertake Weekly - New stash (Stamp)
The Hobby House - Use ribbon

Show us your craft room at Deep Ocean.

Good evening bloggers.
Hope you are all well and enjoying getting back to normal after the festivities. A week back at work and its like xmas never happened!!!
Seen as I have spent 4 days sorting out my craft room I thought I would enter the challenge at Deep Ocean which is - Show us your Craft Room.
I really enjoyed having a good old tidy and sort out and hopefully if I stick to my New Year Resolution it should stay clean, tidy and organised. Not holding my breath!!!
Top shelf and second to top shelf I have all my flowers. Third shelf I have my punches.
I have some baskets underneath second shelf which holds work in progress.

I have glued some hook around this unit to hang my spellbinders.
I have hung my ribbons on the side of my book shelf. The unit on the right has some papers and other crafty bits. This unit is also the home of my crafty buddies Chubsy who is fast asleep and Lara, who you will usually find below him.

On the table is my sewing machine and die cutting machine. I have not yet found a home for my sound bar and tablet. Below the table I have a unit with stuff to sort. See, my organisational skills are slipping already!!!

Printer in the corner and all my colouring mediums. Two embellishment boxes on the right. I have next to this a filing cabinet which I have not photographed.

Close up of my pens.

And here is Lara, pinching my seat again.

Thank you for stopping by and I will see you all soon.

Tilda with Big Tulips.

Happy New Year blogger friends.
I hope you are all well and not suffering from lack of sleep as I am. It was my friends 50th birthday on New Years Day and to celebrate this she had a party last night. It was a lovely evening but we had a rather late night and I had a very early morning. I am suffering this morning which  I can assure you has absolutely nothing to do with the wine!!!
I am showing you today the card I made for her. The photos do not do the card justice.
I have used Tilda with Big Tulips.

She is coloured with Distress Markers. Love this bright pink.

The pink flowers on the left are from Anne Marie Designs but I cannot find the link to them on their website.

The white butterfly and picture frame are made from Martha Stewarts modelling clay.

I was having a very lazy day on New Years day and because I didn't receive any crafty goodies for xmas, even though hints were given, I bought myself some pressies. Naughty naughty Sharon.

They were from WOC and Live and Love Crafts. Love these two shops.

I am going to purchase some more goodies next month from Live and Love crafts and you lovely followers will have the chance of winning them.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

A Creative Romance - Something New. (Distress Marker new colours)
Inky Impressions - Anything Goes

Happy New Year.

Happy New Year blogging buddies.

I hope you all had a wonderful New Year and enjoyed the celebrations whether you were partying or having a quiet night in.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your visits and lovely comments during 2013. I really do appreciate each and every one of you and look forward to carrying on the friendships in 2014. I may even get to meet some new bloggers which will be lovely.

I have had such a lazy day today.  I have been alternating between playing Candy Crush and Jelly Splash and on the occasions when I am waiting for a life I have been surfing the net. Very lazy I know but I don't feel at all guilty.

I couldn't resist joining in with Debby's top five cards of 2013.

I must say this is a lot harder than choosing my top 5 Christmas Cards.

Sorry I think I have just counted 6 -  I never have been very good at maths!!!

I am going to carry on with lazy mode now and play games and blog and I just may watch Harry Potter.
See you all soon.
