Inspiration post for Noor Design UK

Good morning. I hope you are al well and having a lovely week.
Is anyone else fed up with all the Fireworks? Our fur babies get so fretful.

The adorable image is from Whimsy Stamp and is called Cupcake Treat - isn't he the cutest.
The image has been stamped onto Fabriano Artistico Watercolours paper and has been coloured with Distress Markers and Re inkers.
The beautiful lace is Gwendoline and is available in several colours.

I stamped the sentiment from the Big Balloon celebration die and cut it out with the die from the Big Balloon set.  I can see me using these often as their is also a Celebration stamp to use. The words can also be cut out with a die.

This is the first time I have used the gorgeous straws above - aren't they so pretty. I have embellished my card with the flowers listed below - two of the flowers have been cut out using rolled roses dies.

To add some dimension to the wings of the pretty two layer butterfly above I placed some foam under the wings. I also added a nib to butterfly.

Thank you all for stopping by today and for your lovely comments.

Enjoy the rest of your week and I will see you again soon.

Inspiration card for Noor Design UK.

Good morning.
I am here with my inspiration card for Noor Design UK.

I will probably be crying whilst writing this blog post as I am watching The Pride of Britain Awards.

The beautiful image which has been coloured with Distress Markers and Re-inkers is Mistletoe Fairly from Whimsy Stamps.

The poinsettia on the right has been made with the Creative Expressions poinsettia stamp. I stamped this twice onto complimentary papers using Versamark and white embossing powder before cutting out and layering.
The poinsettia on the left has also been cut out twice using the Christmas Deer set with Deer before layering. I added a Rose Gold decorative button to these.

Behind both flowers I added the Ice Crystals die.

Two roses using the rolled roses die are above and scattered about are some bark stars.

Thank you all for stopping by today and for your lovely comments.
See you all soon.

A new challenge at Noor Design UK.

Good morning.

I hope you are all well. I am having a couple of pj days to rest up and try and get rid of a cough and cold.

We have  new challenge starting today at Noor Design UK.
Our theme for this month is
Winter.

The DT have created some stunning cards. To join in the challenge and enter your card just click on the link
http://noordesign-uk.blogspot.co.uk/

I have used one of the gorgeous images from Pion Designs Grandma's Attic - Fairytale of Winter.
The papers are Maja Designs, I wish for lots of snow.

I love the gorgeous tones from the papers and image though I did find it difficult to photograph.

I am kinda addicted to the gorgeous flower from the Christmas set with Deer. I have cut out the three sizes of the flower die twice and contrasting papers which gives lots of dimension.

Behind the flowers on the left is the Marianne Design Creatables Lamp post and sign die.
To the bottom left is the Old Dutch Skate Die. Under both flower arrangements are the Joy Snowflake circle die which has a matching corner die.
The beautiful lace is Desiree. Adding lace to my cards is such a hard decision as Noor Deisgn UK have so many scrummyliscious laces to choose from.

As finishing touches I added some bark stars and wood snowflakes to which I added a gold gem.

Other embellishments include the pomegranate Apples, Cheesecloth and Hemp Rope.

Thank you all for stopping by today and for your lovely comments.
Have a lovely week.

See you soon.
Hugs Sharon. x
