Fun Birthday

Good Evening lovely blogger friends.
Hope you are all well and finding some crafty time. I have had four days off work with the intention of making lots and lots of cards!!! Well I made a staggering 4.  Maths is not my strong point but even I can work out that is only 1 a day. On the brighter side I did manage to get both my DT cards done ready for this weekend.

Talking of DT's as I mentioned last week I was asked to join Songbird and Dream Valley - well I also was asked on Sunday to be GDT for No Matter Which Challenge during November. How chuffed did I feel. They do say everything comes in threes don't they.

My card today is clean and simple!!!
Well it was supposed to be - didn't I do well. I suppose for me it is clean and simple, there are no flowers.

Card Blank is from Craftwork Cards. The papers are from Nitwit Collections. The image is from LOTV and has been coloured using Pro Markers and Polychromo Pencils.

The butterfly as you will all know doubt know by now as I use it virtually on every card is by Memory Box.
The scalloped edging is a die from Magnolia.

I have done something on this card which I have never done before and that is to use faux stitching and I am quite pleased with the effect. It seems to finish the card off.
The ribbon is from my own stash.

am entering this card into the following challenges
http://papertakeweekly.blogspot.co.uk/  All creatures great and small

Great card Sharon. Love the zingy green. Congratulations on you new Design Teams. I like the effect of the faux stitching and have used it quite a few times in my own projects. Enjoy the rest of your time off work.

The colours certainly give it a clean crisp feel Sharon and it's a really gorgeous card. I struggle with CAS cards as well, I started out with good intentions you know where I end up.

Many thanks for joining our 'Animal Magic' theme at Penny Black and challenge this month.
