Before I show you my card I was wondering if anyone knows how far Birmingham Train Station is from the NEC. I was going to go by car but hate going on long journeys on my own and decided that the train would be far less stressful. Russ usually goes with me but he has a business meeting at home on Saturday. Is any of my blogging friends going on Saturday - it would be lovely to meet and say hello.
My card today is one I made for a friend to give to her mum and dad. They do not know if they are having a girl or a boy and so wanted a colour scheme which would be suitable for either. The card is more of a keepsake as they wanted a pocket inside so that they could put inside the baby scans and a poem.
I have coloured the image with Distress Markers. The papers are from Nitwit Collections.
The ribbon and bling are from my stash.
The flowers are from WOC and Live and Love Crafts and the Button is from a local craft shop.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges

This is just beautiful Sharon! The image is just so cute! If you get the train to Birmingham NEC you walk directly through to the exhibition hall, it's all under cover and takes about 15 minutes I guess. There will be signs! I am going in Thursday unfortunately! I am going to drive this time which is a first, wish me luck! Pami x
This is just gorgeous hun. The train journey from Birmingham New Street to Birmingham International takes 10-15 minutes max and once you get off you just follow the escalators and signs. I travel from Tile Hill to Birmingham Int - only 3 stops and takes about 5 minutes! I am going on Saturday and meeting up with Debs and Lauries. Hugs, Claire xx
