A new challenge at The Ribbon Girl

Good morning blogger friends.

I hope you are all well and having a lovely weekend.

We have a new challenge starting today over at The Ribbon Girl.

The theme for the challenge is Anything Goes or Spring/Easter.

We have some fabulous prizes up for grabs.

The 1st prize is an assortment of ribbon, lace and embellishments from The Ribbon Girl.

2nd prize is Maja Design paper from the home of Maja in Sweden (The Ribbon Girl are now selling Maja papers - how good is that)

3rd prize is a choice of stamp from LOTV.

We look forward to seeing your gorgeous entries.

This is the card I have made for my lovely mum for Mother's Day.
I have used the gorgeous Magnolia Miss you Tilda and coloured her with Distress Markers and Inks.

The gorgeous embellishments from The Ribbon Girl include the items below. I have placed a link to the products at the bottom of the post.

Maja Design - Vintage Spring Basics, Pink/white spot ribbon, Cheesecloth, Crystal and Diamante Embellishment, Pearl/Ivory flower shape flat backs, 6mm flat back pearl trim, Ballerina Blossoms, White Daisy, Large pale pink rose buds, pale pink lily, 20mm open rose, Tiny pale pink rose buds, Tiny white rosebuds,

I am so pleased that The Ribbon Girl are now selling Maja Design papers but, the good news doesn't stop there, they are also now selling Pion and Lemoncraft papers. Whoop whoop.

I have cut some butterflies from the Maja papers and added them to the butterfly die from Noor Design UK.

I a entering this card into the following challenges.

Thank you for all your lovely comments.
I haven't been around this week. As some of you may know, Russ has a congenital heart defect which resulted in a heart bypass graft. His body rejected this and after four years of being told to not play football or over exert himself we sought a second opinion. Russ got the all clear to play football and live his life. On Monday, he had a suspected heart attack and has been in hospital until Friday evening. The cardiologist thinks that the chest pains were not the result of a heart attack but the effects of his condition and something that may occur again. It has been such a tiring week.

I hope you all have a lovely week ahead and I will see you all soon.

Hugs Sharon. x
