I'm a tad excited!!!

I have just been asked by Rebekah from Diva's by Design to be a  DT member and I am so so chuffed and excited. Although I didn't get chance to meet Shell who is sadly leaving Diva's by Design I want to wish her all the best with her future endeavours and say a BIG hello to all the other team members. I have received some lovely comments so far and although I am away at the moment I will in time visit all of your blogs so that I can say a more personal hello. I am looking forward to being part of a wonderful challenge blog and meeting some wonderful fellow bloggers.

Fairy Dust Tilda

Good Afternoon friends.
Hope you are well and having a relaxing weekend.

I had a lovely surprise this week finding out that I am Color Throwdowns featured stamper. I am having such a wonderful time in blogland and don't know why I didn't venture into this world sooner. 

 Russ and I are away this weekend as it is our 8th Wedding Anniversary tomorrow. Although we are relaxing we are still working on our computers - don't think I could be away from my blog friends for 4 days without getting serious withdrawal symptoms. Because it is our Anniversary this weekend the Hotel upgraded us into a feature room. It is huge - this is the life. 

Just hope I get home to a clean and tidy house - are you listening Sophie and Kenny!!!

Todays card is a first for me as it is a Tilda image. I have had it for a while but have never got round to inking it until now. 

The card is by Craftwork Cards and the papers are by Sassy Designs and at the moment there is 51% off. 

I have coloured her with Promarker and Flexi markers - am sure loving Fleximarkers at the moment.

Hello again.

Thankfully I am getting ahead in making some cards so I thought I would post two today. I have had a day on my laptop entering some challenges and setting up a pinterest board. It is a bit sparse at the moment buy will hopefully put up a few more pins before the day is out. 

My second card of the day I made for our Daughter's 21st Birthday.

The image is from Saturated Canary and is called "Party Hardy" and is drawn by the very talented Krista Smith. She has been coloured with Pro Markers. 

The card blank is from Craftwork Cards. The papers are by Sassy Design and at the moment there is a massive 51% off. The Catalina Wreath die and the butterfly are by Memory Box and are available from many online stores. 

The flowers are by WOC and the leaf die is a Spellbinders die.

The sentiment is computer generated. Diamond Sparkles have been added to the image.

Good Afternoon friends.

Hope you are all well. We had a very busy but enjoyable weekend catching up with friends which led to two very late nights. We also spent quite a long time in the pub yesterday watching the Olympics as we have no TV at the moment due to a weak signal. T total for a whole week I think!!!

I am really chuffed because I won $50 in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge. I have been having a look round their store and their is just so much I would like. I am thinking maybe Tim Holtz distress marker pens. Could anyone let me know what they think of them please.

Canary Love

Hi friends
Gosh Tuesdays soon come round. I am quite sad that this is the last post as part of the GDT for Papertake Weekly. I would like to give a big thank you to Dawny and the team members for giving me this opportunity. I have thoroughly enjoyed it and will hopefully get this opportunity again. For this challenge I have used a Saturated Canary image called Canary Love. She is adorable. Honestly I do have other stamps and digi's apart from SC but they are just so adorable. I would have said that this card is out of my comfort zone being very bright but I am very pleased with the results.

Patchwork Butterfly

Good afternoon friends.

Hope you have had a good weekend and you are all well. I had a lovely day on Saturday - Russ and I spent the day together as we don't seem to have had much time for him and me just lately. We needed to go into town so of course that meant having a look round Wallis and lucky for me Russ bought me a blouse. I have been spoilt this month as I was also bought 28 Flexi Markers, which I absolutely love. Never thought the day would come when I could get just as excited about pens as clothes!!!

Today I should be making a card for my step-daughters 21st birthday but I'm afraid I have lost my mojo so I am blogging instead. Hopefully I will get my inspiration back tomorrow. So...here is a card I made last week. the image is from LOTV called Patchwork Butterfly.

I am so chuffed because this week I was picked for the top three at the Stamptacular Challenge Blog and won some crafty goodies from Copic Marker Europe. I guess I can no longer say that I never win anything!!!

For my fourth challenge over at Papertake Weekly I have made a card using another Saturated Canary image by Krista Smith called "Thank you". That lady is so so talented. This weeks challenge has been sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps and the challenge is to make something for your card.

 For this card I made the flower from my spellbinders, computer generated the sentiment and coloured the ribbon with my Pro Markers. 

The card blank is from Craftwork Cards and the papers are a download from Sassy Designs. I love blue and brown together and wait for it - there is a massive 94% of papers at the moment which means that most of the paper packs are only 25p!!! Did I fill my boots with these.
