'Never too old for a hug'
Evening bloggers.
Another very busy day at work today - just about sold out of bbq's and patio sets. It would be nice to enjoy this lovely weather with some friends but our garden needs to have some time and effort put into it as at the moment it is rather overgrown. I have put a notice in our front garden saying "pick your own weeds" but nobody has come forward yet. Actually, Sophie's (our daughter) boyfriend is a landscape gardener but he is not taking the hint when I say he needs to build up a portfolio and our garden would be ideal!!!
I think my cat Lara is wanting to be part of my blog. I was finishing a card this evening and I found Lara sat in my light box.
I have another card using LOTV stamp "Never too old for a hug". It is brighter than my usual cards but I loved the pinks and greens so I thought I would give it a go. I am pleased with the results though I cant decide whether I like the bright green ribbon. I think maybe it would be better using a white ribbon. What do you think?
A compilation
Stamp - LOTV
Papers - Sherbet Lime. will have to let you know where I purchased these papers.
flowers - WOC
Colouring medium - Copic markers and Polychromo pencils
Die - Memory Box die Oyster Stamps

Your card is gorgeous Sharon. When I saw your cat I thought it could be my cats twin. I have a tortie and white cat called Amber and she sticks her tonge out as well - its so funny! Amber hasn't long had part of one ear removed as having white tipped ears she had cancer on one of them.

Oh bless. Lara is so funny. I always said I would never get a cat, but I couldn't be without her now. I love her to bits. Are you having fun hoovering up white cat hairs - this time of year is a nightmare. Hope your cat doesn't have any more problems

Hi Sharon, stumbled my way here whilst blog hopping and had to stop and say what a gorgeous card - but looooove your putty cat! She is just so pretty!
We've got two - very recently increased to three - all of them funny in their own way and I could see my Oscar deciding to sit in my light box!
Best of luck with the blog, sorry I can't help with the header. Am still figuring my blog out as well.
