Monday 7 April 2014

I am one very tired lady.

Hello crafty friends.

I hope you are all well and have had a lovely weekend. I have so much to do today but we have had our grand daughter since Friday whilst her parents move house and everything has gone by the wayside. I am sooooo tired. I had forgotten just how much attention they need at six months. Evie Mie  is nearly 12lb and has done so well after being born at 29 weeks weighting just 2 1/2 lb. She is so adorable - I will put a video on the end of this post.

As you may have noticed, I have changed my blog header. I am pleased with the header but I have two backgrounds behind the design. I have tried to remove them but cannot find the html codes. I am waiting for Plumrose Lane to sort the problem out for me as I am not confident in doing it myself. To be honest I wouldn't know where to start which is why it is not running correctly.

I have been wanting to blog today's card for ages - and am making the best of it whilst Evie is asleep.

All of the products used will be listed with a link to the seller at the end of this post. If I have missed anything I apologise, just ask and I will give you the info.

I have used Drip Drop Tilda and stamp a foliage stamp behind it. She has been coloured using Distress Markers.

The flowers are from WOC Crafts and Live and Love Crafts.
The pearl string and sparkly stone in the middle of the white flower are from The Hobby House.

The sentiment stamp is from Clarity Stamp. The heart die is Doo Hickey.

Evie Mie this morning

First of all, your GD is so adorable--gets cuter all the time, if that's possible! And there is a reason that young people have the babies--because they have enough energy to take care of them, lol! ;^)
Secondly, I love the new header on your blog & hope you get help on removal of one bg. I would have no earthly idea of how to do that!
Thirdly, your card is just precious! Love the sweet image & your fab coloring! It is beautifully designed & embellished! Love it!
Fourthly, I am going to go now before I write a long story. Or a short novel...
Hugs, Penny
