Noor Designs MDF word art

Good afternoon blogger friends.

I hope you have all had a lovely weekend.

I have been a very busy bee. Actually talking of Bees, whilst I was doing the garden, I found a Bees nest. Have any of your come across a nest and if so, do you know how long they remain in the nest. I do not want to disturb them - they have caused no problems and I love the thought of Bees nesting seen as there is now a major problem with the amount of Bees about.

Well, after telling you all that I hated gardening but needed to tackle our ever growing jungle!!! I have to say, I have thoroughly loved doing it. I have found it so rewarding. Really wish I had taken some before and after pictures. I have now got the bug and cant wait to get our there again. My dad will be so proud. Lol.

I am showing you today another MDF word art project. I have a card to match but will show you that at a later date.

I took a little peak at Noor Design UK before I made this and the Doves and Wedding text just happen to jump into my basket!!!

The beautiful papers are from Maja Design Sofiero range.

I layered the two papers onto the Magnolia Doo Hickey butterfly. I added pearl string to the lace.

I love adding pearls to the centre of flowers - gives them such a soft look.

The strip along the bottom of the papers had the Text - What a lovely day which is perfect for wedding cards.

A collage made up of all the gorgeous elements making up this card.

I would like to enter this project into the following challenges

whimsy Stamps - Use ribbon, lace or twine
CCEE Stampers - Weddings
Craft for the Craic - The Big Occasion

Thank you so much for stopping by. I must apologise if I had not visited you all as often as I would like. Whilst the weather is like it is and I have caught the bug, you will find me titivating the garden!!!
I will visit though later in the evening.

 Have a lovely week.

Hugs Sharon. x

We have a couple of bees nests Sharon, one in the stables and one in the eaves of the house. I not very knowledgeable on them but apparently the ones in the eaves are masonry bees and nothing to do with honey and have already relocated twice around the roof sounding quite angry as they go. Hubby say's they will need 'dealing' with if they don;t go of their own accord. As for the others, I am told they are wild ones but collect honey and have been there for weeks so don't know it that means they stay put. But as I said I am only passing on hearsay.

As for your artwork today, it's fabulous and what a wonderful keepsake for the happy couple.

Hi Sharon about your Bees!!... They should go around end of June to mid July if they are honey Bees
a Bee keeper would love to collect them I am sure in your Area. But not Bumble Bees if they are disturbed they will become aggressive
So keep well away, we had one and by mid July they had gone.
Anyway on to your project lovely as always just perrrrfect.

Oh Wow! this is gorgeous Sharon… this is so romantic and I love the soft colours and beautiful embellishments… absolutely stuning!
We had some bees in an old tree in our garden... not sure what type… we just left them alone and the bees never bothered us. They were gone by the Autumn.
SO glad that you are enjoying your gardening…I used to find it very relaxing. Can't do it any more with my spine pain but really miss it.
Hope you have a good week!
Big hugs, Sue B xx

Oh my! Sharon, my new friend, I truly don't have the words to tell you just how much I love this! This Word Art has been at the top of my wish list, but I foolishly have been waiting to see if any Dutch Doobadoo would show up in a US store. Thanks to you, I cannot wait any longer. :o) You've used the perfect papers... how I long for a re-release of Sofiero. The butterfly is spectacular, the pearly-centered flowers are exquisite, and lace always makes everything even lovelier. The lovebirds are stunning. Sorry for the novel-length gush... this is just completely perfection and I adore every inch. :o) Have a beautiful night!

Hugs and blessings,
Karen

Gorgeous project Sharon, perfect colours, just lovely - and I would run a mile if I found a bee nest! I had one huge swarm years ago, I mean huge, a whole hive of bees, rang the local police station who contacted a bee keeper who was delighted to come down and get them into big baskets and take them away, he was over the moon at free bees!
