Wedding card.

Well it has certainly been a long time since my last post.

Life has been very busy over the last few weeks helping Sophie with her Wedding plans. I cannot believe that it is now less than two weeks. I am getting so excited and I know it is going to be such an emotional day.

I hope you like my card which I had such fun making.

The card has been created using Crafters Companion Die'sire create a card die.
The papers are part of the Maja Design Denim Girls collection.

The Mr & Mrs, and the Frame are by Bloomar Designs. I am sure I got the border from there also but I cannot find it. As soon as I locate it I will reference it.

The small flowers and the leaves are by Lady E.
The ribbon and other embellishments have been used from my stash.

Thank you all for stopping by today.

I hope it is not as long a time before I visit again.

Good morning.
I hope you are all well and having a lovely week.

I would like to share with you today a card I made using some gorgeous chipboard by Laserowe Love. I do think chipboard elements make beautiful centre pieces for projects.

The beautiful papers are by Craft Clock and are part of the Lavender Hills collection.
Underneath the chipboard is a mat which is part of the Hunkydory Frames and Tags die collection called Claire.

To embellish my projects I used flowers, stamens and ribbon from my stash.

My post for Swedish House Crafts

Good morning. I hope you are all well and having a lovely week.

I am sharing with you today the card I made using some of the flowers I showed you in my previous post. I used a combination of Foamiran, Vellum and papers. I used dies from Whimspy Stamp and Lady E to make the flowers which were coloured with Distress Inks.

Don't you just love the cute Elephant which is from a set of six by Paper Nest Dolls. Really looking forward to colouring more of these cuties. This cute Elephant was coloured with Prismacolor Pencils.

The beautiful papers have been taken from a 6 x 6 paper pad by Maja Designs called Denim Girls.

The chipboard burst of stars are from

Thank you for stopping by today and I will see you again soon.

My first post for Swedish House Crafts.

Good morning.

I am here to share my first post for Swedish House Crafts.
I have been admiring the work of the DT ladies for a long time and was thrilled when Suha asked me to join her team. Such an honour to work alongside such talented ladies.

I will be predominantly show casing flowers made from Foamiran but I will also show the effects of using the same die on paper and as you will see below, vellum.

I coloured the foam flowers with Ink pads. The two large vellum flowers were scored on the back of the vellum to create the lines on the leaves before colouring.

My DT package included the adorable Elephant which is part a 5 piece set. I have to say they are all so darn cute.
My next project with show how have I used this image and the lush Denim Girl papers to make a card. Of course many of the above flowers will be used.

That's my first post done for Swedish House Crafts. I hope you like my flowers and come back to see the finished card.

See you soon

Wedding Card

Good afternoon.

I hope you are all well. I have been absent from my Blog for a while as we have been on phase two of our garden makeover. Why did I never get into this gardening lark years ago. I am loving it.

I have made a Wedding card using some gorgeous chipboard elements and paper flowers.

I have used Lady E dies to create the paper flowers.
The curved edges have been created using Spellbinders Borderbilities dies.

I believe the Chipboard frame is by Bloomar designs but I have tried searching for it Bloomar Designs Etsy Shop and I cannot find it. If I do come across it I will add it to the thumbnails at the bottom of this post.
The mat which the chipboard has been placed on is by Marianne Designs.
I have added lace, ribbon and pearls from my stash.

I added white embossing powder to the chipboard elements.

Thank you all for your lovely comments.

I will see you again soon now that our garden is finsished.

Wedding Card

Good morning blogger friends.

I hope you have enjoyed your bank holiday weekend.
I unfortunately ended up at A & E at 10.30 on Saturday Evening. I had a reaction from something and my face was an absolute mess. It looked like I had burst blood vessels all over my face but especially around my eyes. Thankfully it has just about disappeared.

For my latest card I have used Crafters Companions  Die'sire Create a card heart die. The papers are from a First Addition 12 x 12 paper pad. You can take a look at the details by clicking on the thumb nails at the bottom of this post.

The chipboard Mr & Mrs is from Bloomar Designs.

The flowers have been made using Tiny Flowers and 005 dies by Lady E and Spellbinders Cinch and Go 1V dies.
I have used stamens and ribbon from my own stash.

I hope you like looking at my card and I will see you again soon.

White on white card

Good evening.

I hope you are all well. I had a lovely afternoon serving tea, coffee and scrumptious cakes in the tent for DIY SOS's Big Build today. I loved every minute and was so humbled by the many people who gave their time and support to help a family in need. Tomorrow is the big reveal and I dare say there will be many a teary eye.

I would like to share with you my latest project which is a Birthday card I made for our daughter Sophie. I found this scary as I have never made a white on white card before but I enjoyed making it and am very pleased with the finished card.

The base of the card has been made using the larger die from the Crafters Companions Die'sire Create a Card heart die.

This is an easel die but used the large heart only and added cord so that it could be hung on a wall.

I have used my favourite die again which is Lady E 0005. I have only used this so far with paper but will have to give it a try with Foamiran.

The gorgeous chipboard frame is from Bloomar Designs.

Thank you all for stopping by today.

I will see you again soon as I have quite a few cards I have yet to show.

Chipboard card

Good morning.

I hope you are well and looking forward to Easter. Russ and I have been off work this week to carry on with our garden renovation. I have also been busy making some Wedding Evening invites for a friend. Hopefully I will have some time to relax before I have to go back to work.

I am sharing with you today a card I made for a friend who is recovering from an operation. She has recently decorated her living room in a beautiful sage green so I made her card to match her colour scheme.

The chipboard frame is from Laserowe Love, it is so pretty. I really should have ordered more than one - perhaps I will have to drop some hints as it is my birthday at the end of the month.  I really would have liked a get well sentiment but unfortunately I didn't have one in chipboard.

Some of the flowers have been inked and some cut from the papers. The large flowers are made from the die 005 by Lady E designs. The flower die with heart shaped edge is Spellbinders Shapeabilities Cinch and Go 1V. I love the fact that this set of dies has some tiny flowers also.

The ribbon and pearls are from my crafty stash.

Thank you for stopping  by today.
Once again, have a lovely Easter and I will see you again soon.

Hugs Sharon. xx

60th Birthday tag.

Good morning blogger friends.
I have been so busy lately that I have just not had the time to share with you all my latest projects but hopefully I will have another to share with you next week.

I am sharing with you today another, yes another, bottle tag. I love making these and they are a fabulous idea for birthdays and special occasions if you are buying the recipient a bottle of wine.

I made this one for my sisters 60th birthday. She thought she was just going out with her husband for a Chinese but she had a lovely surprise waiting for her as a few of our family members were there to celebrate with her. The food was delicious and we all had a lovely time.

The tag is from Dutch Doobadoo which I covered in some gorgeous papers from First Addition. This collection is called The Promise and there are so many gorgeous papers in the collection. All the flowers were made with the papers and Rosy Owl 005 die.

The chipboard is by Bloomar designs. I love using chipboard as a centre piece but they have kinda taken me away from my colouring of images. Seen as I have so many gorgeous pencils, I really will have to get back to colouring.

I love this cute little mirror but unfortunately, I can no longer find them in the store as with the gorgeous leaves.

I would like to enter the following challenges.

Thank you all for stopping by today and I will see you again soon hopefully.

Bottle tag.

Good evening.

I hope you are all well and having a lovely weekend. I have booked tomorrow off work so no getting up in the early hours for me. It also means that I can enjoy an evening relaxing with hubby,  a bottle of wine and A Star is Born DVD.

I had a request to make another bottle card and I have to say, I love making these.
If you would like to take a closer look at any the products I used, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the image.

The  Bottle tag was created from a stencil by Dutch Doobadoo which I covered with a paper from Maja Designs Denim & Friends - Floral. If you love the colours of these papers, Crafteezee have a sale on them at the moment.

The gorgeous chipboard is by Laserowe Love. I am loving working with chipboards at the moment. I think they make such elegant cards.
The chipboard has been matted onto a Marianne Design cutting die.

I received a gorgeous Lady E die last week and couldn't wait to have a play. They have been made with card and coloured with inks.

For some lovely finishing touches I added a metal butterfly and metal leaves.

Thank you all for stopping by today and for your lovely comments.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

See you soon.

Product review for Hunkydory

Good Afternoon.

I was asked by Hunkydory if I would like to do a product review and of course I jumped at the chance.

This was not as easy as I thought it would be as they have so many gorgeous products it took me a while to decide. In the end I decided to review some Creative Expression Dies by Sue Wilson.

I have two project to show you today the first one being the Frame and Tags set Claire.

The largest die measures 10.6 x 10.6cm.

There are five dies in this collection two of which are fairly intricate but they cut like a dream on the first run through.
I have layered the dies for this project but they can also be used to create an aperture as I have done below, all that is needed is to add some bling.

The sentiment is part of the set used in my second review.

Also available to co-ordinate with this die set are two stamps which you can see below.

For my second review I have used the Frames and Tags die Isobel.

I loved using this die as it is so different to any I have but I think it may become one of my favourites.

Their are two large dies which cut out the border with the swirly corners the largest of which measures 12.3 x 9 cm. There are also three dies in this set, Celebrate on this card, Just for You on my first tag and Thanks as below.

Once again Hunkydory thank you for asking me to write a review. I have thoroughly enjoy using your products and I hope you like how I have used them.

Hugs Sharon. x
