Baby Card.

Gosh, I can't believe 2 months have passed by since my last post. Time certainly flies when you are busy. I have been spending a lot of my time in our garden. We started a big project 2 years ago and we are now seeing the rewards from all our hard work. It has certainly kept me sane in this very worrying world we are living in at the moment.

I hope you are all managing to keep safe.

I would like to share with you today a Baby card.

The gorgeous chipboard is from Bloomar Designs. Can't get enough of the gorgeous chipboards.

The papers are from a paper pad by LOTV. I have had them for a long time and I believe (correct me if I am wrong) they are no longer available to buy.

I have made the flowers using Foamiran and the Small Flowers die set by Lady E.

Everything else is from my stash.

That's all for now.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

For my Headteacher

Well would you believe it...another bottle tag.

I was asked to make a bottle tag after a friend saw my last one and as I am sure you know by now, I love making these. This one was for a Headteacher.

The papers are House of Roses by Lemoncraft. These have some beautiful elements which can be cut out to add dimension to your projects.

The outer mat has been cut using Creative Expressions Frames and Tags die set, Claire

The chipboard is from Bloomar Designs, frame 006.

The flowers have been made with Foamiran and Lady E Dies. If you follow this link you can see all the dies from Lady E and examples of the beautiful flowers you can achieve using them.

I created a pocket on the side and inserted a tag which could hold a personal message.

Thank you for stopping by today.

And... another bottle tag.

Good morning.

A colleague saw the last bottle tag I created and asked if I would make her one for one for her. Of course I jumped at the chance because I am sure you know by now how much I love making them.

The tag stencil is by Dutch Doobadoo. I am not sure if this is still available as I can't seem to find a retailer selling this. If I come across it I will add the details to the post. The beautiful papers are House of Roses by Lemoncraft. The clock was cut from part of these papers.

The flowers were made out of Foamiran using Small flowers and tiny leaves by Lady E.
The beautiful laser cut chipboard is by Bloomar Designs.

The bird cage, twine and gems were from my craft stash.

The cute little butterflies were made up of two layers from the Little Darling Stitched Butterfly set.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my card.
I will see you again soon.

Stay safe.

Bottle tag

Good morning.

I was hoping to be back sooner but we have been taking advantage of these sunny days and spending our time in the garden planting flowers and making it all beautiful. I have to admit, I never enjoyed gardening but since we have completely redesigned our garden I am loving it and am really appreciating the joy a garden can bring.

If you have read my post title you will see that yet again I have made a bottle tag. I sure do love these and obviously ideal for those birthdays which require a bottle of wine as a gift. I do hope you are not getting fed up of seeing them.

This one was made for our daughter and was determined to use yellow and pink so scoured my stash for papers with these colours.

The tag is from Dutch Doobadoo. Two layers were cut out and mounted to give the tag depth.
All of the flowers have been made using dies by Lady E and Foamiran. If you follow the link to Emilia's page you can see some the beautiful flowers which can be made using her dies.

The chipboard frame is from Bloomar Designs . I am sure the words were also by the same company but could not find it in their shop.

I coloured the flowers using ink pads. I recently purchased some Geletos and am looking forward to having a play with them.

Thank you all for stopping by today.
Stay safe and I will see you again soon.

Bottle tag.

Just popping in to show you another bottle tag but firstly.
How are you all doing? Such strange and scary times we are facing at the moment. Are many of you self isolating? I work at Asda so I have to work. It is not easy to avoid meeting people down the isles but I certainly do my best. Whilst Russ is not on the list for being extremely vulnerable, he is on the tier down so I am so scared of bringing the virus home with me. I am two weeks leave at the moment so I am trying not to think about going back but it is difficult.

Now onto my bottle tag. I really love making these.

The bottle has been cut out using a stencil from Dutchdoobadoo and covered with papers by Maja Design.

The gorgeous chipboard frame is from Bloomar Designs and the 30 chipboard is from The Range. The outer mat is part of a die set by Marianne Designs and the second mat is from a die set by Creative Expressions - Claire. The flowers are all from my stash.

Thank you all for stopping by.

I hope that the next time I have a post for you the situation with the Coronavirus is more positive.

Stay safe.

James Bear and a few wedding photo's.

My goodness. Long time no see. I thought I would have been back with a post sooner but life has been a tad manic of late and with so much going on my mojo decided it was time to take a holiday.

Since my last post, on 16th December our beautiful daughter got married. It was such a fabulous day filled with many laughs and so much emotion. Before I share my card I have just a few photo's of the day.

Now onto my card which has an adorable image from LOTV - James Bear.

He has been coloured using Polychromo and Prismacolor pencils.

The card shape has been created using a stencil from Dutchdoobadoo.
To the top of the card I inserted and stuck down the heart die from Magnolia so that the card could be hung up.
I added some pretty flowers, ribbon, leaves and lace to embellish.

Thank you all for stopping by today.

I have some more cards to share with you so I will be back shortly.

Take care

Wedding card.

Well it has certainly been a long time since my last post.

Life has been very busy over the last few weeks helping Sophie with her Wedding plans. I cannot believe that it is now less than two weeks. I am getting so excited and I know it is going to be such an emotional day.

I hope you like my card which I had such fun making.

The card has been created using Crafters Companion Die'sire create a card die.
The papers are part of the Maja Design Denim Girls collection.

The small flowers and the leaves are by Lady E.
The ribbon and other embellishments have been used from my stash.

I hope it is not as long a time before I visit again.

Good morning.
I hope you are all well and having a lovely week.

My post for Swedish House Crafts

Good morning. I hope you are all well and having a lovely week.

I am sharing with you today the card I made using some of the flowers I showed you in my previous post. I used a combination of Foamiran, Vellum and papers. I used dies from Whimspy Stamp and Lady E to make the flowers which were coloured with Distress Inks.

Don't you just love the cute Elephant which is from a set of six by Paper Nest Dolls. Really looking forward to colouring more of these cuties. This cute Elephant was coloured with Prismacolor Pencils.

The beautiful papers have been taken from a 6 x 6 paper pad by Maja Designs called Denim Girls.

The chipboard burst of stars are from

My first post for Swedish House Crafts.

Good morning.

I am here to share my first post for Swedish House Crafts.
I have been admiring the work of the DT ladies for a long time and was thrilled when Suha asked me to join her team. Such an honour to work alongside such talented ladies.

I will be predominantly show casing flowers made from Foamiran but I will also show the effects of using the same die on paper and as you will see below, vellum.

I coloured the foam flowers with Ink pads. The two large vellum flowers were scored on the back of the vellum to create the lines on the leaves before colouring.

My DT package included the adorable Elephant which is part a 5 piece set. I have to say they are all so darn cute.
My next project with show how have I used this image and the lush Denim Girl papers to make a card. Of course many of the above flowers will be used.

That's my first post done for Swedish House Crafts. I hope you like my flowers and come back to see the finished card.

See you soon

Wedding Card

Good afternoon.

I hope you are all well. I have been absent from my Blog for a while as we have been on phase two of our garden makeover. Why did I never get into this gardening lark years ago. I am loving it.

I have made a Wedding card using some gorgeous chipboard elements and paper flowers.

I have used Lady E dies to create the paper flowers.
The curved edges have been created using Spellbinders Borderbilities dies.

I believe the Chipboard frame is by Bloomar designs but I have tried searching for it Bloomar Designs Etsy Shop and I cannot find it. If I do come across it I will add it to the thumbnails at the bottom of this post.
The mat which the chipboard has been placed on is by Marianne Designs.
I have added lace, ribbon and pearls from my stash.

I added white embossing powder to the chipboard elements.

Thank you all for your lovely comments.

I will see you again soon now that our garden is finsished.

Wedding Card

Good morning blogger friends.

I hope you have enjoyed your bank holiday weekend.
I unfortunately ended up at A & E at 10.30 on Saturday Evening. I had a reaction from something and my face was an absolute mess. It looked like I had burst blood vessels all over my face but especially around my eyes. Thankfully it has just about disappeared.

For my latest card I have used Crafters Companions  Die'sire Create a card heart die. The papers are from a First Addition 12 x 12 paper pad. You can take a look at the details by clicking on the thumb nails at the bottom of this post.

The chipboard Mr & Mrs is from Bloomar Designs.

The flowers have been made using Tiny Flowers and 005 dies by Lady E and Spellbinders Cinch and Go 1V dies.
I have used stamens and ribbon from my own stash.

I hope you like looking at my card and I will see you again soon.

Hugs Sharon. x
